Very nice review as always. I will buy this bike if they increase the suspension travel, increase the tank capacity to 15 litres, give switchtable ABS and a stronger light.
@@xyxyxy9915 it means that higher displacement means higher power curve, more breathing space for the bike in high-speed. While lower displacement might get you high speed, it will put much more stress in the engine which will in fact shorten the engine life span
You are basically comparing a sports bike to an adventure tourer. And with an obvious bias to sports bikes. Vstrom foot pegs are located beneath the rider so that one can stand up on the bike for small jumps and really rough patches. You can’t do that on a forward set foot peg. Also suspension is actually stiff on Vstrom for a tourer since it’s directly from the gixxer. The comparison is rather pointless. If you want a fully fared sports bike from suzuki, which can carve corners and give you performance in spades for a beginner, choose the gixxer sf. Better option would be the duke 250 though. Want an adventure tourer from suzuki? Get the Vstrom. There are no alternatives.
Gixxer will take a few dirt roads no problems, Case dismissed. Most of my riding is on bitumen where the Gixxer excells, especially on the corners, AND, it looks fantastic. Case dismissed.
