Great vid. How often should this be done mile wise? I bought my K5 GSX14 3 years ago had 7k on the clock hardly used and it's now done over 43k. Do you reckon it's likely to be out? Also I'm yet to check your other vids but have you done one on adjusting the throttle position sensor?
Think its every 6k to 7k miles or yearly is recommended no no vid on the tps but its the same on most early suzukis eg tls tlr and gsxr etc hope this helps 👍🏻
@KeepItWheel they over complicate it in manual.but not so bad I'm.checking.mine again tomorrow hopong to get this tool.over next few weeks also can't wait .....rebuilt above crank last year new base gasket hg bolts the lot
QQ is there a screw adjustment for each throttle body as to me it sounded like you said there was only one for cylinder 1 and 2 and 1 for cylinder 3 and 4 and one in the middle for both sides. If that is the case how can you level out 1 and 2 etc? Thanks
Embarassing to admit to but I did not realise fuel injected bikes need this doing I thought it was just carbed bikes. Yes runs so much smoother can hear it straight away!
We don't offer this as a service sorry😐 Its just to show that people can do it their selfs. Buy the tool and a Haynes manual and you will be surprised how easy it is! Failing that I recommend searching for a decent local motorcycle mechanic (Research & Check Reviews Obviously) rather than main dealers that just wanna pull ya pants down👍
Hi great vid. I have a 2007 GSX1400. Had it 12 years it has now decided not to rev past 5 grand when im riding. Up until then it sounds great. Is this a sensor problem do you think?
Hi, its really hard to diagnose on-line... there are many things to check to be able to give you a decent answer(s) could be a fuelling issue, filters, valves etc do you have any fault codes? Would be a good place to start sorry can't be of more help😔
Hi bud ! Balancing the the throttle bodies would not effect the mapping on the bike as the power commander works off the TPS(throttle position sensor) sensor!
