Suzuki Gsxr 1000 problem and hopefully a solution

Glad you got it sorted I’m having similar problems getting there though. Replaced old rusty tank, tea bag filter, cleaned injectors, carb cleaned black filter hoping the last one ends for good as problem keeps coming back

Amazing work bro, I been watching your videos for awhile now. I have a 2002 gsxr 1000 with 17k miles I got a few years back. I have the same problem, I dropped it off at the shop a WK ago. They got said I need my injectors cleaned, tanked cleaned, and I had a small oil leak. Had to replace the starter cover. Here in NC cost me 1000 😅. Soon I’ll start doing the work myself lol

didn't long get my K1 1000 running again, religned the entire tank, due to the shitty fuel we need to put in now, and had to replace the fuel pump as it was completely dead, managed to get a 2nd hand one for £150 from a salvage yard saving me £350 on top of that. Now running sweet as again

I had a similar running problem with my k2 gsxr but it was a duff spark plug.

there is one more filter in that black plastic. its biger ant it could be rusty becouse it has metal parts.

Balance the intake it is out of sync it should be done every 2 years that is the 02 i know i have the 01 there is a plastic tube they sell with the connection to open the injector electronically connecting any cleaner to clean them out then balance the intake you think you're scared now lol do that and hold on lol

I have the same bike, needs a tank change and no doubt a clean of the injectors. I'm more impressed your friend had a calibra, not seen one of them on the roads for a long time. The salt used on the roads in Scotland over winter simply eats away at cars if not looked after. Your spot on though. Many bikers forget a motorbike only goes as fast as we make it. I'm now looking for a k3 1000 fireblade and a k3 R1 to sit with my GSXR. I simply don't like the lights from 2004 until today. Looking forward to more posts 🙏
