I went to school today. You answered a question I’ve had for a long long time explaining what makes up the different classes. Now you make me feel like a fat man at 185 lbs.
Absolutely love this channel! You've convinced me to like stretched bikes and appreciate their purpose. 07-08 will always be my favorite body style for GSX-R.
First time on this channel and this video made me hit That subscribe button real quick. Love how detailed and informative you made this. Really learned a lot and actually enjoyed watching this. Thanks!!!
Though I have watched drag bike racing I am really new to the classes love watching the video of you showing the different classes I would hope in the near future to ride something like the true street but love your channel Hope to make To a few upcoming races this season love the channel thank you
Hey Chris bro you rock !! I'm in the dirty south down in s.w.Louisiana and will be at your place to have my bike built, no doubt about it bro , you are the man to see.. mad love for all your hard work and dedication 👏 you shine above the others .. btw it'll be a turbo busa I'm looking for around 400hp-500hp totally made your style ya know but it has to have the 1000 tail on it, my favorite..
I was riding a turbo Gixxer 7/1100 back in the early 90's out here in Socal. It was my daily driver street bike, rode that thing every day. Times have change BIG Time with these bikes now, makes me want to buy another one lol.
Great video, I have never been much into class racing because I don’t like being told how I have to build something. Currently building an 04 ZX-10 that could be ran real street if I wanted to but will soon be strictly grudge. So I find these videos rather useful and informative
Hey chris. Good content thanks for sharing. Ive been out of the scene for a while so just curious. Are the stand alone ecu's legal for real street? We were using ecu editor for the suzuki stuff, with boost control, nitrous control, etc. had good luck with it too. Im guessing the motec stuff is far superior. With less electronics on board. Good stuff and thanks for the great video.
So many questions...lol, here is a few. 1) What goes into your decision as to which computer management system you put on a bike? 2) Can you put a fuel cell under the original tank? 3) I see some bikes have their NOS bottle facing up, others facing down or even slanted forward. Whats the difference in position and what is the biggest NOS bottle one can put on their bike?? 4) Real street bikes only run a gasoline? 5) What is your opinion or recommendation to someone who is thinking on choosing between a NOS bike and a Turbo bike??
Nice explanation and collection of bikes. Is there any particular reason that the bikes are in the 2007/2008 year range? Why not something newer? I’m a newbie and trying to figure it out. Thanks for the great videos!
I wonder how that real street bike will do roll racing with a 2-6 swingarm and without nos and swingarm exhaust against the newer bikes with that fully modded motor it has ... And can you tell us the times for each class usually runs ?
Chris I got a question for you it's always a good topic amongst friends and buddies and everything what is your take on with all the new bikes with all the electronics and that b******* do you think it's better that everyone has Rider electronics now to compensate their skill or do you think that takes away from a writer's true skill relying on electronics like anti Willie and stuff like that? Love to hear your answer bro
Do u think we could get a vid of which u think is the better drag platform out of the hayabusa and gsxr. I'm on the fence on either stripping a hayabusa to the bare minimum or getting a gsxr and starting over
Question say I wanted to build a real street bike with a turbo with all premium parts nothing half ass but only for roll runs no dig starts how much we talking if I already have a bike
@@TeamMooreMafia it was the first video I watched on your Channel and my phone sitting on the counter in the garage and went to beeping like that I was like oh s***
K5/K6/K7/k8 These bike got the same engine, but K7/K8 got better ECU, wich is easy to tuneable. The next generation of GSXR K9 and up, got less reliably engine, that cant take huge amount of power.
@@4allcyclesperformancedynot617 yes but those were just a handful of incidents (in the american versions). there were no cracked frames in the EU reported. anyhow, suzuki put a extra frame 'brace' on all k5/k6 models after a checkup. (if frame was OK in inspection the brace is installed, otherwise the frame was replaced).
@@TeamMooreMafia kool👍🏾 Now a build on a ZX14 will get you about 240-250ish on a 2014. Will it hold a 200 shot of nitrous? B4 I talked 2 you guys the builder of my ZX10 said it wouldn't be that much of a issue on a build on a 14. Your opinion matters 2 me. Thanks✊🏿
The rules are in favor of the 1k right now. With my weight i would have to have a shorter wheel base on a busa. We are going to re do the 1k this year and improve the chassis. We have the horsepower to compete we just could not apply in soon enough in the run without wheelies.
