Working at our fully equipped workshop in Kent we carry out tasks including Panel beating, Body work, Mig Welding, Sheet metal Spot Welding, Fabrication, Chassis Repairs, Sand Blasting, Engine and Mechanical repairs, Reconditioning, Restoration and Structural repairs on the Celette Jig Dozer frame machine.

We do receive quite a few questions regarding tools and equipment that we use for various jobs. Unfortunately there is too many to list but some of the brands we use include Snap-on, Blue-point, Makita, Sealey, Clark, Esab and Sykes-Pickavant.

The red bit of plastic in the seat is a kick stand tray - place it under the kick stand when ur on soft ground and it stops it from sinking in and the bike falling over

He's right Rob, it goes under the kickstand when you park the bike on a soft surface so the bike won't topple on to it's side. 👍

Your enthusiasm is infectious Rob. I'm retired and most of the summer months are spent going to car shows, i never tire of it. Sadly not this year. People do struggle to understand what i see in it all. I own a quick car and always have. I have that exact same enthusiasm when i'm getting the car out for the summer. Keep doing what your doing, it makes great viewing

One thing I would say before riding it Rob is go over EVERY nut and bolt because ya don't know what they've had "half" a go at removing when stripping it down !!!

@@peteramberley9952 Most people that have never ridden a bike don't understand the passion. Or someone in their friend circle or family died on a bike, so they loathe them. But how many people die in cars each year, do they not enter cars because of it?

I have to admit - when I see modern bikes underneath all the panels, they fill me with DREAD! ... My days of Biking were the Old BSA, Triumph, AJS's etc, etc. ..... So easy to get to EVERYTHING (and you needed to - every journey ;) ..... My son rides the modern stuff, does the basic mechanicals himself but gets his club-mates to do the 'real' stuff :-) ..... Looking forward to this series :-)

Awesome to see you doing a bike mate. I’m a Suzuki man myself. Sold these when they come out new, probably one of the best looking GSXR’s they have made. I’ve had 3 Gsxr1000’s.

Excellent videos, I lost my father after a short illness in April, I had lost my mother 18 months previously. I know very little relatively about cars and bikes, however I really enjoy watching your RU-vid channel as a distraction. Keep up the good work and cheers Rob. Julian.

Motor bikes have never been my thing my dad loved his bsa in the sixties but i will say to each thier own i can tell robs over the moon with it i can understand that its like when you buy your First car no Matter what it is wether its dropping in bits to you its a Rolls Royce have fun mate

Rob, the red plastic item in the tail is a side stand guard. If you got out and you have to park on soft ground you can lean the bike on its side stand on the red plastic ground guard.

Yeah most of that bike is still there thank God my neighbor had the same motorcycle that he was selling it had computer problems l I have heard that if you put a jump pack on it you will destroy the regulator I don't know how true that is but this is what I was told anyway guys it's nice to see you working on a bike seems like you're into all sorts of things and that's great for a RU-vid channel that's for sure you guys take care and stay safe and God bless

I'll be honest, I find bikes scary so wouldn't have one but find the engineering very impressive indeed. This looks a very smart machine and having looked at the specs feel its a very fun machine for those with the skills and talent to ride it, looking forward to see it built and riding again.

Same here, falling of a push bike hurt enough when I was young. Falling of at 40+ yrs old is just gonna really hurt lol. Still want to watch it rebuilt though, I know pretty much nothing about how they go together.

Loved the video, nothing beats the excitement of a new bike! You look like a kid on Xmas morning!. I had an R6 a couple a couple of years ago, brilliant bike and 600s have the best combination of power and handling. I think the engineering on Japanese sportsbikes is outstanding, you cant stop looking at them

The tracker is on the right-hand side of the bike in full view, just below your hand when you pulled the red tray out. Red tray is a "puck" for the bikes stand to sit on when parked on soft ground. Your screen is missing. The exhaust is original downpipes I believe, the shiny link pipe attached is normally used for mounting aftermarket exhausts. Most of the light scratches will buff out, as they are only marks left from the riders foot when he throws his leg over the bike, mounting and dismounting. Don't forget that the k6 and k7 600 and 750 gsxr bikes are indentical, meaning plenty of parts readily available. Bar ends aren't standard. Very well kept bike for the year and mileage, only the wear on the hand grips give the mileage away 😉

If your mates can't get you bolts and parts, check Fowler Parts online as they display all the manufacture breakdown pictures for parts and allow you to order to be delivered. Use them all the time for my Yamaha MT07 and MT10. Look forward to seeing more videos on this bike.
