SONY head unit swap with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Fascia kit:
AERPRO model FP8047
To suit Suzuki Jimny SN413
aerpro.com/FP8047
Wiring harness step one:
AERPRO model APP071
ISO Harness to suit Honda/Suzuki models 1999 on
(Connects Suzuki wiring to ISO standard)
Wiring harness step two:
AERPRO model APP8SP4
ISO to SONY AV headunit.
(Connects Sony to ISO standard)

Hi bud, is this in a Jimny MK2? Also, do you need to use the wiring loom that came with it or can you plug it straight in?

Hi Dr I have a Suzuki Jimny 96, His Radio Tape and Cigarette lighter are not working due to not power supply, I have found a Plug wandering Coming from Dash board I think that plug belongs to this How I fix that problem Can u please help Me

Can I ask about the centre console swap, what is the replacement from as its recessed unlike the original. Looks much better.

Oh it’s just an aftermarket fascia to properly allow the double din fit, you just change over the gray parts from the original!

Thanks for the feedback !. I do find audio is usually a weak point but I’m using an iPhone most of the time… I appreciate the feedback coming with some good advice too (rather than some nasty comment like usually hahaha). 🤛🏻

100% appreciate the video! The sound is quite strange indeed, if your filming with iphone im pretty much sure there is something wrong with your iphone though. It should never sound like this, just a helpful tip :) keep up the good work!

Hi I also replaced factory speakers with the Sony options in same size, nothing special but a great deal better than the factory speakers.

@@Simon78 Hi, thanks, in the meantime I installed rear speakers Alpine SPG-13C2 as they are a bit bigger 13cm instead of 10cm and fit in the holes without cutting with just new screw holes.

Nice video but unfortunately it misses a critical part of the installation of the unit: the wiring and the color codes? How did you match the wires of the main wire harness on the Jimny to the wires on the head unit? Do you have a source for a proper matching diagram? If you have; please share, it will be quite useful.

Well I used harness adapters; one to adapt Suzuki to ISO, and one to adapt ISO to SONY. I’ll grab the part numbers soon for you 👍
