Hi my friends, new video today with better sound and two camera perspectives. 🤭 Today I drove a bit slower because I have brand new tyres on it. Today it was sunny very dry and 30°C. Suzuki RGV 250 VJ22B GP Engine
I was only 16 years old when my uncle died and he left some money for me and my three brothers. He stipulated that the money had to be used for educational purposes. My oldest brother bought a computer, the second brother bought an encyclopedia and the youngest brother used the money to go to art school. I used the money to buy an RGV 250 vj22. It was the best decision I ever made. That bike was my ticket to freedom. I spent hours upon hours riding it, exploring every inch of my town and beyond. It was my way of escape, my way of forgetting my troubles. And it was all thanks to my uncle. Every time I ride, I think of him and how grateful I am that he left us that money. It may not have been what he intended, but it helped me in more ways than one. Thank you, Uncle Mike.
This video is exactly what people want to see. This gives a better idea of what it sounds like actually riding it than anything I've searched up yet. I just learned about this bike , and I am mostly finding videos of the exterior. This is great. Riding it nice and hard too , perfect ! I love the two stroke
Out of all the bikes I ever owned my Rgv250 was the best at slicing and dicing corners. I would still buy a two stroke performance bike if I could. I grew up on them, dismantled then, turned them, raced them. I love them.
this engine is excellent, i would say that one of the best rgvs, very elastic and very high rpm, pushing with power over 11000rpm, I have some place where I can see that it is mounted, congratulations for it
Had mine in UK 1990; fabulous fun posing in town, flicking it through corners, being a bit hooligan begore speed cameras, so light and super-nimble, seat hard on my butt, only crashed it twice ... still miss it! 😍
The last 20 seconds..... Best sound of the Video.Great........ the acustic is wonderful.2strokes are enough.Sorry for my bad english.Mike from Germany.
I Love the rgv so much. I look to Pick up One only to own it. My neck an my leggs are ill so i cant drive it but i will see this bike every day in my office room at home.
3 spinal surgeries (not bike related). Can’t really get around. But, I’d love a a lucky Strike model in my yard to stare at, start and generally fondle ;)
We grew up riding these at 13,,,rd 125,n 250 l.c also .drz 350 ..my misses wont let me have a bike now we have kids,,bought a srad years bk and used to wait till bath time n push it to the end of the drive to sneak out helmet in hand 🤣🤣🤣🥇👍
@@aschischannel2396 I know. My mates used to upshift without shutting the throttle. They called it powershifting (before quickshifters were invented) It was hell on the gearbox/clutch.
Yes, that can be, but I take the throttle away a bit when shifting gears. You just don't hear it exactly because it's very fast. 😁😋 I've been riding a motorcycle since I was a child. 😊
i owned a RGVL(1990) and was thinking thats no stock engine with those revs until i saw "GP".. been looking for a RGV for rears to restore.. hard to find i very sunny 30c haha thats a hot winter here in AU
That's a healthy motor :) rebuilt mine last year with cougar valves, arrows, jetted. but its jetting on the safe side with stock pistons and heads. what have you done to this one? next up for me is a new shock. the original 1993 item is.... past its best :D like riding a pogo stick :D
I had suzuki factort pipes with lambda probes and factory cdi. 36 mm carbs, prepped heads with straight plugga an oring instead of gasket. 3mm base gaskets and manchuns race porten cylinders with modded exhaustwalves. 102 octande Fuel only. Welded an balansed crank. Max rpm 15500 pulled hard between 10500 and 15000. Totally dead under 4500. Geared for 260.. mad Machine.. 90hp on rear wheel.. What is Done to yours?
Check out Fischer-KFZ. www.fischerkfz.com/index_en.htm These guys built the engine in my RGV. Match the engine up with a good aftermarket exhaust, Jolly Moto or Tyga, and a zeeltronic programable ignition and hold on tight... 70+ Horsepower screamer.
Ho avuto 1 rgv 250 gamma anno 1991 peso 127kg potenza cv reali 78''...velocità max oltre 225.
Yes, the transmission has not been changed to my knowledge, I think only from 1 to 2nd gear it was slightly adjusted. Only the ratio of the chain and sprocket and pinion is sher short. Top speed up to the limiter is then a maximum of 210kph. 😉😁
@@aschischannel2396 hello bro, tyga and zeeltronic I don't think it works as fast as your rgv, could you explain a bit? Do you want tz pistons (year?), do you want port height?
@@ezergv250 A lot has changed in the engine. For example, the control times of the cylinders were changed and the cylinder heads were punctureed with straight-standing spark plugs and O-ring puncture. The ignition box and air filters, mambrans, exhaust etc. 😏😉
Why can't they produce a modern, sporting, bang up to date 2 stroke for the road. I'm sure they could if they wanted to and I'm sure it would sell in the thousands...
@@chrismorris5608 want to feel bad , I saw a RGV today selling for more than they ever were out of a dealership new. For an old 2 stroke that made me feel damn old.
@@weaselman24 mine is for sal on ebay for £3250. I sold it for 2 grand five years ago.i mite get an mbx125! I had the ns125f in 1986 but mbx was the better bike! But loved my 350lc after that cost me in 1987 £350!!!!
