Awesome video! Sorry to see you fail but I've been working on upgrading mine for a looooong time and it's like you said, "1 step forward and 2 steps back". Thank you for showing the failures as well as the successes.
Thanks, I appreciate the kind words! I tried again today. Tried to modify that plastic piece but I didn't clock it right and had to take it back apart. Gonna let it set up overnight and try to get it again tomorrow. I checked what I bought and it says it fits my vehicle and I couldn't find any other part number so I gotta make this one work. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
Sometimes you gotta take a couple steps back to see the whole picture. Not your fault dude, even if you had the ducting in place first then it would have been in the way of all that wiring you needed to do, little by little you have it done and out desert running.
Good point, and a good way of looking at it. I failed again today but I think I got it figured out and will hopefully have it in tomorrow. Couldn't find any different part number and it says it fits the Samurai, but also says SJ410 and SJ413 so idk. I just know I gotta modify this one and make it work lol. Thanks for the uplifting comment!
Sorry to hear you suffer from a serious headache. Anyhow … Once NASA crashed an autonomous space rocket/ship on the surface of Mars. As it turned out it was because of the confusion included in the use of the imperial system. Since then NASA use the metric system where everything is divided by 10 or times 10. Measure twice, cut once.
Mine broke today, the gear box stopped working, i took it to the shop since i don't have the tools and the knowledge to fix it... It can be so frustrating 😅
Dang, sorry to hear that. I don't know a single person with the tools or know how to fix a transmission. Sometimes you can get lucky and it's the linkages or something external but beyond that you pretty much need an expert unfortunately. Hopefully on one of these it's much cheaper than your average car.
