The engines are not as smooth, that leads to more fatigue. You'd think the twin would have more torque, it doesn't. The lack of a fairing again leads to more fatigue. I do like the hydraulic clutch feel on the sv1000, and it is attractive. Other than that I'll stick with a 4 cyl.
I have a 2003 z1000 that I really love, but I was looking at these first I like them equally. I think the exhaust sounds amazing on sv1000s. I might still buy one one day for the right price.
@@GIZZMOTORSPORTS SV 1000 has more torque lower in lower revs so you get that kick in the pants all the time at rational street speeds. 4 cylinders are definitely awesome, but you get addicted to the kick in the pants at much higher revs and therefore nutty, cop attracting speeds. I love launching my twin and flying forward while hearing that my engine doesn't seem to be working hard at all. I'd be in jail or in the hospital if I had a 4 cylinder.
