Here I show you show easy it is to take off the ugly rear mudguard and number plate holder off a Suzuki SV650.

Thank you for the upload! Note you put the brackets on the wrong side and flipped over. I tried it your way and had to re-read the directions. The note of "the radiused end of the bracket faces forward" was my lightbulb moment. Only issue is that you won't be able to properly torque the tidy down as it will hit the threaded posts

Cheers just bought one of these for my original 2004 sv. As you said instructions were sparse - glad u showed where the two rounded brackets went as this was putting me off taking mine apart lol 😊

Thank you for the video! Unfortunately I won't be able to follow all your instructions because I do not have such a wonderful dog. Maybe throwing a ball isn't necessarily crucial part of the process :)

Hello! i know this video is a bit old however, i’ve just got one of these bikes and want to replace the rear indicators, will “modern indicators” plug and play so to speak? or will i have to do a whole load of re-wiring, thanks!

Hi, sorry, not really my area of expertise but I’m guessing if you’re using LED’s then you will need some in line resistors because the current will be too high for the low voltage LED’s. Don’t quote me on that though. I haven’t had the bike for many years now but it was my second and what a fabulous machine.

Does the r and g kit plug straight into the original plugs or is it a bit of soldering?

Erm, is was fairly straight forward, just a wire cutter and a couple of bullet connectors, hope you’ve got it sorted

Hi, Good demo ! I've just bought one of these bikes, I'm having trouble getting the tail piece off , What holds the very back section on right over the rear light area>? There's something in there and just can't see what it is? as You didn't cover that big in great detail in your video . regards Dave ,

where does the fuse box clip on once the original mudguard is gone ?

Crikey, I’ve no idea, I don’t think it effects the placement of the fuse box if I remember right, it’s been a long time since I made the video and I sold the bike soon after

@@kaieshabish22 I bought what was supposed to be the right tidy for the model year, the original fusebox mount is actually part of the original mudguard, I'll have to improvise something, thanks for reply

Daniel Jones Hi, thanks for your support, it fits between the tail tidy and the bike to protect the bike paint work, it’ll be fairly obvious when you get all the bits set out

Just removing one of these "tail tidies", looks dreadful and means the water sprays up the back of the bike. Stick to the original, you know it makes sense!

il rider It’s a large rubber washer that fits between the tail tidy and the underside of the bike
