Thank you so much for the great review. It has helped me a lot in choosing this car. I love my new Swift GL! I've had it for 2 weeks now and I'm really enjoy driving it. The handling is great, parking it is so easy, driving in highways are cool especially when you put it in overdrive. :) it's a very quiet car as well. I've added on a back camera, navigation and Bluetooth for the car and it's been very helpful. So really this car is worth it.
Hey there Stefan S, thanks for your comment. We try to serve our non-Dutch public by publishing the video with integral translation, because we have a large audience in that area. The performance is reasonably good. It is not super quick when overtaking but the automatic gearbox responds well to throttle pedal in that case so overtaking is a possibility.
I was on the fence on getting whether the manual or auto..I've always had a manual, but now I might give the auto a go.. Also, is this the DJE version?
Ashneel Neo Hope the review can make up your mind a little bit as for your choice. And as for your question: this version of the car did not yet have DJE, so you might want to consider the newer version with the LED's at the front. Hoping to have helped you out. Greetings!
This was back in the days when autonomous emergency braking (AEB) was still in its prototype stages and people were still be able to drive in the city without losing focus & never hit the rear bumper of someone's car. Quite shameful that cars without AEB will not be given 4-star ratings by today's standards.
Hi, I have recently passed my driving and I am looking for my first car. I am confused after seeing the Suzuki Swift. I have 3 choices: Toyota Yaaris, Aygo or Swift. (Automatic) Please give your opinions. Thanks in advance.
Depends on what you're looking for. The Swift has more space than the Yaris and Aygo. Engines are pretty much the same and I believe all cars also come with an automatic gearbox if you want to. Either way, you're pretty much covered as far as build-quality goes. Good luck!
Which car did you get? I had the same dilemma last year. Went for the Swift (manual) because it was very responsive, corners like a boss, and is just so much fun to drive. This was after test-driving 5 other cars on my short list which also included the Yaris.
This little hatch is so fun to drive! Even the automaat, you just need to learn how to massage the accelerator to get the most out of it. Thanks for the video.
