A bit late but just saw this video. The anime you are thinking about in the last location is probably Kamichu!, set in Onomichi. If you have played the Yakuza games, one of them is also set on this town. Visited there back in 2018 (went on a whim as I played Yakuza 6 just a few weeks before going)and was definetely one of the highlights of my trip, just an astonishing town full of temples, breathtaking views of the Seto Inland Sea and small alleways to get lost in.
I haven’t actually seen Kamichu, but looks interesting! Would you recommend? I definitely want to visit that area on my next trip, glad to hear you had a good time! Did you rent a car? Or managed by transit?
@@KindaNeet Got there by train, there's actually a Shinkansen stop so it's super easy to get to. About Kamichu, I did not enjoy it that much, it's a bit TOO slow paced (even when my favourite anime are Yuru Camp, Non Non Biyori and Aria). It's a very "japanese" anime, I feel like I was missing on a lot of context because I don't really know all that much about shintoism. But it's beautiful and quite unique, I'd give it a try.
I have my cinema tickets booked for Friday, and I am so excited to finally watch it. Nice video again, and thanks for not putting in to much scenes from the anime, so that I can still watch it without getting spoiled. :)
