I'll say it... Kunihiko Yasui gave us Iori's best voicelines in this game. His voice acting in this game was godlike. It's still my favorite one in Iori's history of voice direction and acting
Same here, its like a breath of fresh air to see SOMEONE other than Morrigan be the rep for Darkstalkers. That was one of the main things i liked about this game back when it came out, refreshing and different roster choices instead of the same old same old.
Here Dimitri looks tall and bigger than the Vampire Saviors sprite, Capcom probably would have just recycled the vampire saviors sprite if he could made it in cvs, and it would make it look like a dwarf.
@@Argosaxelcaos Demitri is the protagonist of the first arc. Morrigan gets some additional focus in the second arc due to her popularity, and Donovan becomes the final protagonist in the last arc.
@@The_WIll_OF_D99 According to Falcoon, an artist who worked for SNK Playmore during the development of this game, the Devil May Cry protagonist Dante was intended to be a hidden character during the very early planning stages, but then became rejected from the roster in favor of Demitri Maximoff, because the designers felt that he would be a more-fitting rival to Leopold Goenitz.
Weird that they paired Demitri up with Iori, i always took Goenitz to be the rival for Demitri since both are otherworldly and supernatural beings that are above mere mortals.
Is there a chance you guys plan on updating this re-release with a filter that improves the aliasing a bit more? Is there a chance for a physical PS4 version released later? Hopefully this game convinces SNK and Capcom to make a Capcom vs. SNK collection, Capcom vs. SNK 3, & SVC Chaos 2.
@@znmrtns I'm no fighting games expert (really, I'm as amateur as one can be), but Demitri's small fireball + big especial fireball alone dealt more damage than all 3 Iori combos showcased in this video, not to mention that Iori's special had that extension thingy which deals more damage than without it (obviously)... so I'm having a little difficulty getting my head around 1 move + special [small fireball + big special fireball, 11 hit combo] (which btw took away more than 50% of Iori's HP) outdamaging 4 moves + special extended [23 hit combo]... I'm aware that some (or all?) fighting games have a system where the longer the combo, the less damage each subsequent hit deals, but even if this is the case, the difference in damage dealt between the 2 characters in this video still seems a little too big.
You can but it's kind of difficult. You can cancel into it by doing C, ➡️⬇️↘️C, ↘️⬇️➡️A+C on first hit. Or you can do a frametrap. (You should watch WAQAR'S matches to see it in action) You do the first combo in this video, but if your opponent rolls before you hit him with ⬆️D, you'll be close enough to do midnight bliss safely.
Because you have plenty of time during Maiden masher to do so. The better question is: who thought it was a good idea to give Sol Badguy a quad fireball back input in Guilty Gear +R? And why is it for the worst install super known to humanity?

if you go into the controls menu, you'll see that you can map a button to "secret list" or something like that. When you hold that button on the character select, you'll see and be able to select hidden characters. You'll find them on characters in the center column (with Kyo and Ryu).
Violent Ken is slow when he jumps. You have to rely on ground game a lot of the time. But yeah, Blood Riot's speed is enough to make opponents surrender.
Let me guess , it's because of Demitri and his changing male characters into hot females & changing females into even hotter version of themselves is the reason why this game got a sensitivity disclaimer forced down most probably by Capcom. The fact that the highest chances of this being done by Capcom and the highest chances of reason is due to Demitri from one of their beloved franchise Darkstalkers makes me kinda sad and also glad that Darkstalkers is dead and never getting a new game cause God knows modern Capcom probably hates their older games and some their own character tropes
Nope. Its because of the woke freaks hired as western localizers. Witcher III had actual nudity and implied sex scenes and it simply affected the rating of the game.

Definitely don't think it's that at all. Capcom literally released the Capcom Fighting Collection not that long ago and it included all of the Darkstalker games and there was no disclaimer. It's obviously to do with the conversations and win quotes the characters have with each other. Some of them can be a bit "rough", especially for characters like Genjuro.
Game still broken as hell,normally i don´t complain about that but in here? demitri get closer and fireballs doesn´t hit at all when you´re near haha,again,game is good but it needs a remake,fix everything,add more stages,8 characters,4 from snk and 4 from capcom,new era graphics and you can get more money,we were playing this with fightcade and parsec,come on guys,pictures? because that´s the only thing new,also arcade version is baaad.

I thought this game would be forever lost in the depths of Latin American gamers' subconscious, I mean, it's kof2002 engine after all! Also, this game is a big piece of shit 😂 Sorry, but it's true, nobody cared for it 20 years ago, and now turns out EVERYBODY LOVES SVC Chaos. God damn.
