One thing I have to say about SNK vs Capcom Chaos ,it has one of the creepiest soundtracks in a fighting video game and perhaps in video games in general. I would have never thought of heaven having such a creepy score at the very beginning.
oh believe me I completely agree snk chaos always gave me just... big uncanny valley feels as a kid and the bad ending was just.... it really scared me as a kid the game telling me ryu was never found just... it depressed me for weeks and I thought... because I did that. I lost to athena... that ryu wouldn't be in sf4.... I was such a stupid kid but it really REALLY got to me.
@@flaccidpringle T he hell stage is what hell would be and the disturbing part was the faces implanted on the ground like one is even fucking crying because he/she doesn't want to be in Hell and in my favorite video MLG vs YTP the part where bomb guy (CDI Zelda) killing Doge when I rewatched I notice the background and I realize it was the same Hell stage from Svc Chaos
Guile had pretty much the most wholesome ending in fighting games. On a side note though, this is probably one of the creepiest and most unnerving fighting games SNK and Capcom have ever made. Especially SNK since they did most of the work. It’s just so damn odd. I still love it but damn. Capcom’s crossover game was pretty much the exact opposite.
This is the ancestor of the current Athena in the KOF games which is pretty dope .Also you beat athena and firebrand with Guile..that's pretty impressive man.
@@ameladaptivedaydreamer949 it's because this athena is from the 1986 videogame titled "athena" and the athena we are familiar with is either the descendent or reincarnation of this angel like athena. Look up shoryugame's video on athena to get her full backstory.
Impossible to defeat with any character except Athena. Athena is a little easier. To access the secret stage, the condition is don't lose any rounds until reach Orochi Iori/Violent Ken stage. Win this and the next (Mr.Karate or Shin Akuma). Don't use continues and the secret level is against Athena. Use at least one continue and the secret level is against Red Arremer. If you win the secret level, get the better ending, but If you lose, you get the bad ending (same if you don't reach Orochi Iori/Violent Ken under the condition).
Almost a year reply but the song is supposed to sound like this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bVbgTgoPNCk.html These Plus hacks tend to mess with the sound sometimes.
To fight against Red Arremer: -Finish five rounds with supers/specials. -Do not lose a single round. -Finish off at least one character with block damage. To fight against Athena Fight all characters without losing a round and do not beat your opponent with block damage. When fighting Honki Ni Natta Mr. Karate or Shin Akuma, finish them off with a super move or exceed move in at least one round. After that beating either one of them, you will be transfered to heaven to fight Athena.
To be honest i listened to the music called SVC Poem Heaven for the first time. And that song is pretty bland and lame it's sounds like something in space but with Owl hoots. But the Poem of hell is even worse. Its basically demons screaming which is horrifying. I gotta say, the soundtrack in SVC Chaos is terrible.
The game was great, it was made this was so every country even poor ones can be able to play it in almost arcade cabin you can put this arcade board in, this is why you see SNK games so prominent in the poor areas of Latin America not saying that it only them though
@@Imozart0341I This game was bad. Terrible music. Ugly sprites. Depressing background stages with no cameo appearances at all. Underwhelming bosses / depressing endings. No short hops or running in an SNK game ? It was just bad. There are great SNK games out there and this is clearly not one of them. Yes it is cool that SNK games can be spread all throughout the Latin diaspora and poorer countries. That fact doesn't mean that all of a sudden it makes this games music, sprites, endings, and fight system magically better. Although besides the point, it does mean though is that you are thankful, and that's a good heart to have. Hope this clarifies things.
