Recently, Spokane Valley ladder 10 was struck while it was on scene of a call on the side of the freeway. SVFD Deputy Chief of Operations Zack Bond and SVFD Deputy Chief of Support Services Tom Hatley discuss the incident, the damage to the apparatus, and how SVFD makes sure there is no impact on service to our community.

I got to ask is the plan to replace the trailer of the apparatus or just replace the entire apparatus? I would think cost wise it would make more sense to go find a department with a totaled tractor and just buy the trailer.
