These fascinating uploads of Richter's Beethoven would be all the more enjoyable if the piano did not sound as if a piece of silver foil was lying on some of the strings. I suspect this is because of some error in the selection of digital sampling rate and/or bit rate during the upload; I'm sure it is not a feature of the original (analogue) recordings.
