We are pleased to share the good work our organization is doing to provide access to arts and culture in the Wood River Valley.
Since the start of the school year, we’ve welcomed 33 K-12 classrooms into the Museum to explore our current exhibition on dams with their teachers. That's almost 550 students!
Last week’s Winter Workshop - a community program of twelve craft activities over four days - saw close to 250 children, families, and friends. We hosted an average of 61 visitors a day (62, 45, 92, 45), with some visitors returning multiple days. One mother who attended all four days remarked, "This has been the highlight of our holiday week in Sun Valley. Thank you for providing this opportunity."
Our current exhibition, Dams: Reservoirs, Reclamation and Renewal closes Friday, December 30, 2022, culminating with our Scholarship Alumni Toast and the Gallery Association's Gallery Walk. This show is not to be missed and this celebratory evening will offer the chance to hear where past scholarship recipients are now and how you, by giving through SVMoA, have impacted their journey.
