Great review, I'm a big fan of SVS in general especially subs of course. Do you think it's a big difference between a 3 way center speaker and a 2 way? I keep hearing is supposed to be a huge upgrade.

I'm wondering the same thing. I've been considering this, along with the Ultra, Infinity RC-263, and the Emotiva C2+. Those last two aren't currently in stock, though.

Thanks for watching guys! I would say there's a noticeable difference (mainly in the clarity of vocals) - and while not huge, it is worth looking into three-way designs like the Prime Center, especially at this price range!

@@TwoGuyzTech thank you. I just put my latest HT together with all RSL speakers which I love. CG23 LCR, CG3 surrounds. I don't want to change things out now but it's something to think about for next time I change out by speakers.

would the Costco av receivers be enough to push this system along with the SVS satellites? Also, do you have or have you thought about doing a review talking about ported sub vs non ported and front firing vs bottom firing subs. Thank you for your help and recommendations. Also, have heard a lot about the RSL Speed subs...is it better than the SVS entry level sub(s)?

Thanks for watching! Any of the Costco AVRs should do a good job powering these + some Prime Satellite speakers, in the end a lot of it depends on your room and desired listening level. Being that these are entry level receivers, there are going to be limitations on their power capabilities. We would like to dive deeper into different kinds of ported sub designs in the future as well - stay tuned! The RSL Speedwoofer 10S is a really good subwoofer for sure - and we actually discuss how it compares to the SB-1000 specifically in our 7 month follow-up video if you'd like to check it out; ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-urnEU_L0cgc.html In the end they're both great subs, it's gonna boil down to individual taste. They timber match in the trebble region , 2400 hz and above. But the 350-2400hz is represented by two different drivers in each speaker. In the center is a sealed 3.5” midrange driver , while in the bookshel is a 6.5” ported bass driver. I dont think they would sound the same at 500-800 hz for example

Great review.. and I'm really new to this ... but after watching your review I take it bookshelf speakers ate much better than satellite speakers in a 5.1 setup in your case 3.1 if I got that right... would you have the same speakers for the rear for a 5.1...... thank you sir 🙏
