.....Keep going..... I owned a pair of these, (baught from cash converters in a battered condition,..... the banana plug socket at the back looks like its from a pair of 29.99$ pair of speakers (you know the really crap ones people stay away from)..... i un-screwed them and guess what?..... The cheepist, nastiest set of wires inside you could ever imadgine..... like csa of 0.7mm or less, (ive seen thicker wire used in headphones, think the thickness of wires used in a kids toy that is driven by batteries, and the wires they use from the battery holder inside to the device circuit board..... really thin...... The "tweeters" are a complete and utter joke, like NOTHING comes out of them, you have to over equalise them to get them to work at all even...... The crossover is that heaverly laden with resistors and capacitors (with the same thin wires going to all drivers) that its no wonder that its 88db sensivity...... I think the drivers are rated at maybe 40 watts maximum and are in series to make up the watts, the tweeter must be about 20 watt max each..... so they restrict them with loads of resistors and capacitors where you have to "PUSH" 200 watts into them to get any sound out of them at all..... I had the "woofers" (😂) on the table (electrically measuring them) and 1 accidently fell on the floor..... Carbon fibre baskets, my ass,..... there made of cheep plastic as the one that fell broke and snapped to bits as though it was thrown on the floor...... i had to glue it back together with super glue, as the only thing holding it together was the glue that was on the rubber to the plastic...... very brittle, and the magnets were fairly small as well for a "200 watt woofer"...... Its basically a 50 watt max speaker with resistors limiting the power to the drivers in the speaker so you have to use 200watts to hear anything from them......... "Easy to drive"...... bollocks.... Stay away from SVS products, its all "made in china" crap, and the worst crap at that...... 👎🏻🤮💩 After stripping them, there was nothing worth salvadging, so it went in the trash........ £350 wasted because i thaught it was a good brand......
