Great review. I am VERY impressed with SVS. I’m saving up for a set of Prime Bookshelves to join my Prime Pinnacles, Prime Center, & Prime Elevation. I’d love to add a SVS subwoofer one day as well
Hi Tharbamar, Nice review. Can you tell some artists lthat are similar tov Yao Si Ting? Her voice is so heavenly. Thanks. Ive been subscribed for a while and love your content.
These started as my L/R in a 2.1 setup, and then were moved to surrounds in a 5.2 setup. They were replaced by the Ultra Bookshelf. The Primes are sibilant and thin in the mid range. The Ultras are amazing.
Sibilant and thin midrange is more to do with paring components, these are very neutral in my system, I also had Ultras when they first came out, thanks
So how will they pair with Yamaha AVRs RX series? I have 677. Have you tried it's 3 way Centre? I am interested in 5.1 LCR. Currently having Wharfedale 220 which do not produce dialogues that clear.
Amazing video as always love your choice of music for the demonstration I was thinking of buying a set of speakers for my bedroom upstairs I think this is a choice I can make for the price question watt amplifier would you recommend that I could use this something simple. What would you recommend for a budget under $1,000. US Thanks for any advice and help
I'm wondering if you can put a links to music that is playing? I selectively found several of them and comparing with speaker recording gives the idea how the speakers(+ your room, amp, dac) are coloring the sound.
Can i ask a question about the Wharfedale evos? I also have the bowers and wilkins speakers stands but its only rated for 16 lbs. hows your experience with it? is it stable enough and durable take the weight of the evo 4.2? Thanks
@@Tharbamar Thanks, Would you kindly consider making a pair of speaker cables for me like the ones you made in a previous demo and I will pay you for them.

@@Tharbamar thanks the only con about this brand is the center speaker is pretty pricey for me the cheapest is 600.00........im afraid of the harsh treble that some people complaint in the klipsch rp600m......
How is it that the prime are known have unrefined sibilant highs. It you didn't felt that, but in case of triangle you felt it's very bright and fatiguing
How do you listen to the demo? Just a friendly reminder, only option to listen RU-vid sound demos is with the headphones, not with your favorite sound system because listening to two rooms at the same time is not a great idea, thanks
@@Tharbamar various ways. This time from a Chromecast to Pioneer AVR to AJs Pioneer speakers and sub. Also use ATH M50 HP. Sometimes and Bravo Audio tube hybrid HP amp.And DAC from Lenovo laptop.

Thanks I’m so confused about speakers I’m looking for a good sounding pair speakers but I don’t want to spend a lot of money and I don’t like speakers that sound to bright and thanks again I like your video a lot specially when you were talking to your old Dennon amp I see it a lot of times I feel for my old Sotero too and thanks
@@Tharbamar I currently have the 4g model and they sound very good but I think that the denon avc x8500h to which I associate it is not the best option since the acute sounds quite bright to me ... if you can one day try the gold and tell me how it is Your experience, I am considering selling them and going for the evo 4.2, are they the best speakers you have tried? in the song of yao si ting it sounds fabulous but in the svs they seem to sound more alive don't they?
