SVT Cobra Getting Some Big Changes. End of the Th400 Days… 

Hey man! Been watching ya for awhile and you've helped keep me motivated in pursuing buying my 04 cobra that I finally got last year. So know that those messages you put in your videos about keeping focus on your goals do work. I can completely understand where you came from and where you are at now. I believe it may be a mix of all of what you mentioned about the car scene now, getting older, etc.. because I thought the same when I first bought the cobra about going TH400 twin turbo setup like yours but every time I drive it, there's just something about getting into this car and just enjoying it as it sits (currently 2.3 whipple ~550hp; still do wanna go turbo though :)) and banging through the gears that just puts the biggest smile on my face. I no longer care about being the fastest or all that other nonsense and just want to enjoy the car and what it means to me. I think as fellow cobra owners we can agree that there's just something special about what the raw and brutal reality of driving a Terminator does for the soul and maybe that's what got disconnected when you went TH400. I believe the manual will reconnect you with your car and you will 100% re-ignite that love for the cobra once again. Keep on keeping on brother and I always look forward to your content!

Love the Supra/Vette content. That said I've always dug the mysterious Mustang in the background of your videos. Now that it's getting love and spotlight from a "ex-racer/non-racer" perspective I have a new appreciation for your channel. Thanks for your work, I hope your dream comes into fruition in the near future. Rock on!

Only thing I didn't like about the Cobra was that it was a TH400. I understood why you did it, but there's just nothing like bangin' gears on a six speed Cobra. I think you're making a great decision and I'm stoked to see and hear it rowing through the gears

Interesting that you went back to a 6spd especially with a turbo. I just built a th400 to handle 1500hp with a whipple 2.9 crusher. Auto/whipple should be a deadly combo and reliable. Ive had a magnum in another cobra ive owned. It is one smooth transmission of the notchy t56 that comes in the 03/04 cobra
