Hi everyone and welcome to my channel! I decided to sell my 2019 802A Ford F-150 Raptor(GEN 2) and purchase a project 2014 Ford SVT Raptor(GEN 1)!!! Do not forget to replace your dust caps when replacing your OEM shocks!!
Good info man, thanks for sharing. I would be pissed thinking I had checked that off the list of mods to take care of, only to have to redo that “mod”. I plan on getting a rebuilt set myself so this is very helpful 👍🏼
Thanks for the heads up, I am in the middle of changing out my shock seals and oil in the garage and will try not to forget to put the dust covers on that I put aside. Better bring them back to the table so I don’t forget.
I believe you went to TSW right for their shock replacement program? I did the same on the same truck as yours, I see the TSW black package case on the ground in your garage. Anyways if you read the TSW directions it tells you to remove your dust cover off the old shocks and put them on your new replacement shocks, along with the bump stop and springs. This was not the fault of TSW.... On mine I upgraded to better seals and the valve to refill the shocks when needed.
Oh it 100% says to do so, I had a shop do the installation since I didn't have the tools to do it myself. The shop obviously didn't read the instructions. TSW is amazing and highly recommend.
@@DavidFigs oh okay, I just saw the video and looked at mine and unfortunately the shop didn’t put the caps back on. Been like that for half a year now
