(SW) Anakin Skywalker || Anger 

Anakin Skywalker has to be one of the most tragic characters ever created by anyone. Reminds me of a saying by Fitzgerald who said “Show me a Hero and I will write you a Tragedy”. Brilliant work.

"A sith's light saber is not given, it is taken." A red saber is created by making the kyber crystal bleed. Once he got a new saber, Darth Vader showed the crystal his pain. The pain from Mustafar, the pain of fighting his best friend, the pain of losing his mother, and the pain of losing the only women he ever loved and his purpose in life. It was under this punishment that the crystal finally bled.

Hearing Vader say "It is too late for me, son." Hits me right in the feels.

Star Wars is the story of Anakin, it was incredible in the most recent movies he is barley mentioned

"We are encouraged to love"that's what Anakin said about the jedi..but is clearly direct to himself...he have too much love to give,too much passion and the proof is that he become Vader and destroy the Jedi,out of love for Padmè...and he became Anakin again and destroy the emperor out of love for Luke... In order to be the one who bring balance,he had to live every aspect of all things. Light side of the force-dark side of the force. Love and life-hate and death Peaceful and not obsessed love-obsessed and destructive love. I really think,that the good part of this love(Padmè)was transfering in Luke and when he knows about Luke he suddendly felt less evil,less obsessed,less angry,Luke remind him true love,happiness,compassion,freedom(Padmè). We can say at the end that his love for Padmè wich had destroyed him, Save him in the end.. That's why he has so much light and so much darkness..because he was born to handle and restore both of them. The chosen one Best character ever created. Fuck disney!

Hayden is an excellent Anakin and you can’t tell me otherwise

When I was watching Star Wars 4-6 as a young boy of 6-9 in the middle of the 90's, I thought Luke would be a great character. But when watching 1-3, it turned out the badass villain which is his dad is far more interesting then Luke. One of the best and most tragic characters ever created. I hope in 2-300 years people will recognize him as that, and not only as the evil one.

I LOVE the fact that the scene of Luke begging Vader for help is with the scene of Vader destroying all the things that created him, like losing again what he thought he had already lost broke his chains

"I will finish what you started." No Darth Vader finished everything with killing Palpatine. He was the chosen one and he brought balance to the force. It's just wrong what Disney created because they destroyed the whole tragedy of Darth Vader. Make 7-9 Uncanon and Star Wars would be a perfect story, alongside with the big amount of series like Mandalorian, Kenobi, Boba Fett etc.

There was so much that Disney could have used to stretch out the Skywalker story. Instead...garbage.

I have seen so many SW tributes but this was very balanced and wise choice and timing of scene selection. God this gave me chills. Awesome work man and for 7 minutes wow. Glad I subbed!!

I still can't believe that people undercut Hayden's ability to act. He was just given lines and told the Jedi were to try suppressing their feelings and deep emotions. He did all that he could to embody this struggle to stop himself from feeling while he witnessed the worst of things happen, and his outburst moments were a great product of this. It was George Lucas who wrote his lines awkwardly, and as a new actor, Hayden couldn't question them.

From 5:00 onward this edit had me in an iron grip. The last two minutes are STUNNING. GRIPPING. The way it arranged is too perfect. From "where is padme" to the end I was in TEARS. Even the dramatic/comedic "NO!" didn't pull me from the moment. I am in TEARS.

I love it that you can see in Alec Guinness’s performance as Obi Wan , How he’s not exactly lying. But he is bending the truth ; lacing the truth through Jedi interpretations if you like , of the cold hard facts of what happened to Anakin Skywalker. Palpatine really wasn’t lying when he said that The Jedi And The Sith are alike in almost every way.

As a 47 yr old guy , the scene where vader seeing luke calling for his fathers help says no and picks up the emperor and throws him into the void to save his son still brings tears to the eyes .

I can’t believe mark hamill is alive and they chose to sideline him for REY. What a garbage decision, the last three should have been about LUKE.

What I find interesting is that the Jedi weren’t supposed to get attached to there apprentices same with there masters but in the end Anakin and Obi-wan both broke that law and because of that the pain that Anakin and Obi-wan felt during this battle must have so immense. You can also see this by the times both Anakin and Obi-wan give each other out though out the whole battle,

Suddenly there in front of me was the love of my life, and my very lifeblood, Padame. "Ani? Did you hear me?" I gaped wide-eyed. Here she was. Standing right in front of me. Life, joy, and peace radiated around her. I slowly reached to brush a strand of hair from her face and felt her warm skin on my hand. "Oh...Padame..... I've missed you....." Padame laughed, "Ani? What do you mean? No one has gone anywhere." But before I could answer, Padame grasped my hand and said, "Come, Luke and Leia will be waiting." I didn't try to stop her. She lead me through the place where we had stayed a long time ago, though this time there were children's paintings on the walls, and toys laying about. The sign of a happy and well cared for home. I walked into another balcony where 2 small children were playing on the floor. Once I came into the room, the boy ran to my side, and the girl went into her mother's arms. The boy excitedly said, "Father! Tell me another Jedi story!" I smiled and said, "Luke-- my son..." The girl cut in calling out, "No! Father, tell us about the wars and your padawan!" I smiled and said,"Leia-- my daughter..." Padame interjected saying, "Children, children, father can tell us everything. He won't be going anywhere!" She laughed joyfully and looked deep into my eyes. I caught her gaze, and instantly her joy turned to horror as the happy household melted away, with strangers carrying away our children far away. A new scene of a molten planet surrounded us. I watched as my love confronted an old version of myself. "Anakin, all I want is your love. Come away with me." She pleaded with tears streaking down her face. I watched on as Padame said, "I don't know you anymore... Anakin, you are breaking my heart..... You are going down a path I cannot follow... I love you." I watched devastated as the old Anakin ruthlessly began to choke the life out of Padame. When he finally let her go, she fell to the floor limp and broken. I then was suddenly with Padame as she breathed her last words. She shakily said, "I know... I know there is still good in him..." I fell to the floor hard and placed my hand on hers. Slowly it grew cold. "Oh Padame.... what have I done? What have I become?" I gasped and bolted upright. Taking slow shaky breaths I recalled my dream which would haunt me forever. "All I want is your love." The words flew like arrows, pricing through my armor. I shook my head and got out of bed. I stared at my saber which had killed thousands. What had I become? Looking into a mirror, I saw the helmet of anger, hate, destruction, death, and evil strapped securely onto my head. Softly I said to myself, "There is nothing I can do. She's gone. I must move on." I moved from the mirror and lit my saber, and went onto another rampage of death. "I love you......" Her words still surge through my mind.

This really pulls at my feels the part that gets me every time is Padme telling Anakin I love you and no when he says she brought Obi Wan to kill him, as well when Anakin saves Luke at the end and I rewatch/listen to this everyday I absolutely love this tribute

I've had this on repeat for days. When Vader comes full circle back to Anakin at his demise and transforms in to "father"....goosebumps.

We idiolize Luke as a kid, but become more and more like Anakin as time passes. All real men learn to use their anger and some fall to it.

No matter how many times I watch revenge of the sith, I always want Anakin to realize his mistakes, even when I know how it all ends, that's how well this story is written

I love how the character development had happened through the years, this story is so well made. I love Earl's voice as vader, its powerful and deep like the character, conflicted and hurt. He has lost so much....My favorite part will always be when vaders transformation began from a conflicted man into a machine forged from anger and sadness. It was both sad and dramatic.

Skywalker Saga began and ended with Anakin. As did the true Star Wars series.

Luke treated his father like a Jedi Knight. Luke knew that his father had been twisted and turned to the dark side. Even though Darth Vader's crimes are terrible it was all palapatine pulling the strings. Anakin suffered a lot and his anger fear suffering made him vulnerable to palapatine twisting him. Luke brought his father back to the light and perhaps understanding how the dark side and palapatine corrupted his father Luke is truly compassionate. Even though maybe anakin/Vader doesn't deserve compassion the Jedi don't deal in absolutes a wise Jedi can see the big picture. Maybe anakin was in too deep you know maybe he had no choice but to embrace the dark side.

This is a fable make no mistake about it. To anyone who seeks the limelight, you should know you’re basically putting the biggest target on your back. Anakin wanted glory and he got it but with it came hatters from both sides even the Jedi . Be wise in these times . Low profile is true happiness. I see this now.

Let's just take this into consideration for a moment. Obi-wan left Anakin to not just die, but burn to death. That was selfish. He didn't have to save his life but, he could have given him a kinder death then burning alive. Instead Obi-wan was a coward he left someone he called friend and clearly still cared for to die in a horribly painful way. He did so, not out of miss guided mercy, but out of concern for himself. He Didn't think he could live with himself if he killed Anakin. What might be the worst part is the fact that leaving him to die is still killing him, just indirectly.

Ironic how later we learn that you can heal people with the force but it is a Jedi power

Every time I hear that "Noooooo!" with this music, it feels like my hearth is being ripped out.
