Don’t forget the part where SRK is on the plane, getting his food, then darkness, he woke up from sleep (jet lag), and saw his home land from the window! Now that definitely gives you goosebumps
I have probably watched this movie a 100 times, but it still feels new n refreshing, I realized it's the concept, it's a killer. Thank u A.R. Rahman n Ashutosh Gowarikar for this timeless masterpiece
The usage of low frequency sounds and how brilliantly its mixed with percussive drums. Few ppl has ever used the sound of pads better than arr. The sound of pads and strings almost gives the feeling of trance.
talented sivamani as childhood frnd of ARR churned out some best percussion sounds... remember "O Saya" beats frm slumdog millionare... sivamani is the man behind..
Before this tune begins, the start of the movie began with mohan (SRK) meeting with his nasa team about the launch, then he received word that his mom was ill. He spoke to his partner, then spoke to John to say he needed to leave as soon as possible, his partner was impressed how fast John approved, then this theme music begins with the plane in air!!
When I board my flight to Bangladesh in 2023 or 2024, I will be sure to use this theme music as my in flight experience from JFK airport via Dubai via Dhaka!
This tune is the moment Jamal uses his final lifeline, call a friend, phone rings, and Latika runs to the car and picks up the call to speak to Jamal, before that moment comes… Anil Kapoor says… I am guessing that isn’t your brother… crowd laughs! Then anil says, this is… my name is latika.
Soon, this movie, and the theme music of this song will mark its 20th anniversary in 2024!!! Hard to believe how time flies!!! First released in 2004! What happened to the Bollywood we used to know in the early part of our childhood? Suddenly the Bollywood movies that got rave reviews from past now got from good to worse?
