Wow !.My God !..Muktananda is absolutely adorable..Every nuanced hand gesture ...But for myself - and more so ,is the sound of his voice..Hearing him just clearing his throat can feel like an Atomic Bomb exploding. I feel like I am coming out of a long dark dream.-the sunshine days of Ganeshpuri are returning......
If you are new to Muktananda, look deeper into his yoga, Siddha yoga. Receive shaktipat, the Siddha initiation. You can have not greater spiritual gift. In siddha there is nothing to talk about, nothing to explain. it's all about the Shakti, the blue ocean of love and wisdom that open to you with Shaktipat. So sad that Shakti is so little understood in the West, that we don't have an adequate concept for the Female Side of God. It is so playful and profound and so easily available. the Siddha lineage is the lineage of Shiva. It's a cosmic family for ever. Miuktananda isn't sanctimonious or holier than thou because what is available to him is available to you if you want it. So fine. Thank you Mukti!
@@jazzsnare Hi - This is one of the great mysteries that one can try and fathom for ever and not arrive at a solid answer - a masculine or feminine teaching. Shiva and Shakti are the masculine and feminine aspects of God - they are not different. They are the same thing but manifest and apply differently in the phenomenal world. My favorite state of being is when in Winter Shakti is so easy for me to access. Not so easy in summer. I don't know why. I've wondered if Prana is more accessible in summer and shakti in winter but I can't access Prana so easily now either. I believe that Shakti only manifests (to me anyway) after an initial engagement with Prana which activates me on a higher level after which Shakti then is liberated to come alive. Muktananda writes about this. How each person has to undergo a period of effort in meditation after which it becomes effortless and Shakti saturates me. He means five minutes, fifteen minutes, half an hour. : )
My wife met Muktananda in 1976 or '77, and went out to see him in Oakland sometime around that time. And, she knew Gurumayi when she was still called Malti. My wife loves Nityananda, Muktananda, and Gurumayi so very much. Me? I'm not as devoted. It's just the way it is.

My Baba moved his ashram across the street from my apartment in Santa Monica, Ca. I was blessed ( not even the right term) to have his shakti, through intensives in South Fathsburgh. I was a broken and battered human, subject to many forms of abuse, mainly by my mother. My Baba resurrected me and I am able to be of service to mankind and my extended family. Read Play of Consciousness. I live in an area where people are intellectually retarded. I pray my guru sends me to a more enlightened place. I feel that I am dying .

How may i write to you? I used to go to the ashram in ganeshpuri as a kid, but i grew to have doubts about the gurus when we couldn't ever get to see gurumayi. I always thought that a guru's guidance has to be personal. i would love to learn more about baba.
This feels very authentic. No Indian metaphysics, as you would expect from an enlightened mater, but a heart attack and classic nde. A late interview with Huston Smith is like this interview. After 60 years of intense spirituality, with books and all, Smith's ponderings on the afterlife is the NDE. We probably have no clue what happens. Maybe spirituality while alive is what we have been doing for thousands of years because we don't know.. Strange that the ability to treat heart attacks offers a peep to the afterlife or something.
