This is for those of you who believe that the blues these days has become too pretty and polite. We look at the dirtier, swampier, more unfiltered and raw blues attitude with this twangy telecaster lead study in G.. Playing over a single chord vamp and keeping things interesting, raw and aggressive.
We combine elements of many sub-genres of the blues.. delta blues, Chicago blues, jump blues, country blues, rockabilly and even bluegrass to create a unique voice of our own.
Think the perfect blend of players like Hubert Sumlin, Junior Watson, Bill Jennings, Danny Gatton and Jack White!
And this should all be delivered with the casual swagger of a Keith Richards, Junior Kimborough, Marc Ribot or Billy Gibbons.
I also unveil my brand new Nachocaster Guitar.. this is one of my dream guitars and I’m so excited to share its tones with you all week after week. So, as always, do stick around til the end for gear talk and glamour shots! 👌🏻

Hi Alex, another great lesson. I’ve been looking at Nacho’s myself…he offers a lot of options ie pickups and wiring. I’m curious what you chose? Did you get the early 50s Broadcaster wiring and pickups or the later 50s/early sixties wiring and pickup voicings? Thanks
@AlexFarranGuitar
@AlexFarranGuitar 4 месяца назад
Hey buddy, thanks for the comment 🙏🏻 I went with the 50’s pickups, but with the “late 67 wiring” where the middle position is neck and bridge in parallel. These pickups are shockingly good! I had originally chosen 60’s style pickups but Nacho himself said he felt once fitted, they were too bright for this guitar so I trusted his advice and switched to the 50’s pickups.. very glad I did! 👌🏻

I am now in the proces of changing my "show" (to an actual show). There is another interesting Tele-guy down here. He built a Chicken Picking pedal and also his own amplifiers.
