We are trying to get footage of an incident and thought we had saved it all to a thumbrive. When looking back on the camera we saw two teens walking = but when we saved the footage to a thumbrive and looked back, it hasn't put that video footage on the thumb drive. Very annoying. It's only recording PIR (purple) and skipping to those bits that aren't black

Thank you for explaining this, mine didn’t have a owners manual. I unchecked all of the motion/detection (yellow boxes) and left the continuous recording (green boxes) on.

I get a severe motion blur on one camera, it consists of many frames of a moving object. Moving cars moving are almost invisible..just a ghostly trail shows. Do you know how to fix this problem? Thanks much, very nice video😊.

I was wondering if anyone in the comments had any issues with there system (DVR8-4685). For some reason under record schedule there is no “Normal” option for me to select. My system is detecting motion put I preferably want it to record continuously. Can anyone help?

If you have the channels all set to Normal ( continuous recording) wouldnt that then mean you have no need for the yellow motion settings? so replace yellow with green and you're all set? why would you need both up recording at the same time?

I have lost network connection it sez WiFi disabled and connection not connected it is wired with a tp link plug and has been working fine for the last year but all of a sudden it has go off I have tried everything except from taking the battery out and using the reset pins

Does anyone know why on my Swann I do not have the 'Normal' radio button, only the 'Motion' radio button. For capture I do have the both, but not on the record tab. This is weird!

I havnt got the tab for normal only detection what am I missing please

My system is showing date 18240/13/2020 and no matter what I do I cannot change it I have done a restore and a format of the disc the dist info is working but I have reset the date 4 times and it keeps reverting to the above so obviously not recording either.... HELP!!!!! any one

I have now set this to record 24/7 because of things being missed on the cameras with the PIR sensor etc, when my HDD gets full will it automatically overwrite and carry on recording?

Hey, so I know I’m a bit late. But how do I set my camera to where it records all night? Not just with motion detection. I want it to record continuously. For some reason it’s only recording whenever it detects movements and it’s only in small intervals, which I don’t like. I just want a continuous recording. Thanks in advance! Edit to add; I did the same thing you did in the video, I have it on normal and chose my times I’d like it to record and it’s still only recording when motion is detected.

My Swann enforcer system is not saving recordings before midnight. Do you know where I am going wrong in the settings.

How do you delete all the videos which save onto your hard drive ? I can view and fast forward and pause etc etc but i cant find anywhere how i can delete stuff. Thanks

What does the Capture menu do? It seems similar to the Schedule menu.

I moved into a house with a swann system. It has stopped recording and says the HD is full. It was working where it would recycle and delete oldest footage to make room and record new footage. Any idea how I can fix this ?

But what about having both??? I mean, why should you keep the yellow bar (motion) if you mark a green bar (continuous)??? It sounds contradictory having both... Ins't it??

Does anyone know how the mobile app works for this camera. We bought a different brand and the mobile app works great but only connected to home wifi. It advertises that u can view remotely away from home but u can't. So we are looking for a different one that actually works correctly and lets us see the cameras away from home!!
