I used to work in a one-hour photo place. The machine would spit one photo out at a time onto a type of conveyor system to be moved over with the rest of the order. So every time a photo was printed it made the sound "KaChung, KaChung" in perfect time with this song.

The instrumental at the end, when it turned into a post rock song, it gave me chills!!!

Oh... This song... I have owned this album/cd 4 times. (of course it was stolen )And this...This SONG... I dedicate this to all the fucked up choices I made in Partners and toxic People and Family. I survived. Therapy and Hard Work and Staying Sober. And I got rid of You All. Fuck You Predatory People. I got this. I am Strong Now. Nie Wieder. One of the darkest pieces of music ever created.

This was the first Swans album I ever bought. It blew me away in the 90s and it blows me away now.

I've heard this song hundreds and hundreds of times. I think it's one of the most important songs ever made.

words cannot express the feeling I got from listening to this monster for the first time unexpectedly, listening (half-faded) in the wee hours of the morning. nothing could have prepared me.

This is a kind of music i was looking for without knowing it. Its the perfect soundtrack for the time my Women left me. Its not the Sound of a tormented soul,but the Sound of a deeply bored soul.... Like mine at the end of the relationship.....

I love the ending. It takes me to the most cruel and dark, but comfy, joyful and calm places of my life. Like a dream, that I already forgot long time ago, but it still lives in me somewhere, waiting to kick me in the chest just to let me know that it is still here, and it remembers everything, but it won't let me to fall again.

IMHO, It was this album that made Swans to reach the Godhead status.

i think this is the most unnerving, terrifying son swans has ever done, which is saying something. 2nd favorite band of all time, their music is so completely absent of hope, and i still keep coming back again and again and again.

Does anyone else think She Loves Us is a spiritual sequel to this song? There are more similarities beyond the name.

Two months later still amazing.

Swans are my 2nd favorite band of all time (after XTC) and they've made dozens and dozens of greats songs most of them quite fucked up. This might be most unnerving, most fucked up song they've made.
