I can’t even!!! 😂😂😂😂 the way Wes said AMY! So sternly! When he thought she might trip. As if he says it sternly enough she will get the picture and absolutely NOT fall! 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
What a couple you are, always smiling and trying out mad things. Those bike rides along the canal path were scary ar times.🚴🚴♀️. You are so good with involving Rufus so hes not left alone too long. You all have a good laugh and life on your boat.🎉. Ive watched you now for many months and like your videos. Have you got one on 'How you met and a wedding shot'??? Take care and safe🚤❤️👩❤️💋👩🙋🐾🐕
Always makes me so happy to watch your vlogs, you are living the life I would be if I was 30 years younger ;-) Gotta love Boat Time, its the best time! xx
When climbing stairs with a bike, grasp the neck of the bike and lift the front tire. Pull the bike up the steps rather than pushing. This also work well in a crowded area where you have to walk the bike. Small motions of the wrist are all that is needed to steer in that context. I spent a few years as a Bike Patrol Rider in New York. (I've had a colorful career.) Another great vlog. Keep up the awesome work.
Hi Amy and Wes. Looks like the bikes were quite hard work and it was probably pretty wise to get rid of them otherwise they may have caused problems in low tunnels and bridges. Shame because you had such a laugh with them. Look at you two with a grown up spanner set🔧😄. Have a great week. Take care. Nick
Yes they really were 😂 We had a couple of close calls in the short distances we cruised, so felt it was safer to sell them on - reluctantly! I knoww!! We've got proper adult tools now 😂😂 Take care!! x
Hello so sorry to here about the Queens passing …your videos always make my day my week Have a wonder day stay safe and keep laughing and smiling beautiful couple ❤
I will never get tired of watching you two work and play together and getting to see the pets, too. In happy times and stressful, you're a remarkable team. Thanks for sharing your adventures. This video was especially fun!
Lovely to see Crick. My Grand parents lived there......right at the bottom of the hill down from the Co-Op, was our first Boat trip as we wanted to take my mum back to see the house and area
This is really funny but that boat getting the blacking done at weltonfield (foxy) is our boat. I did wonder if we might see our not in a RU-vid video somewhere but guessed probably not in the actual marina!! We’re definitely chuckling away now, we’ve only had the boat three weeks now..!
Hilarious bike ride just for chips 🤣. You 2 are so funny and the banter between you both just oozes on these vlogs. Nice to see you finally got some proper tools. Loved the massive carrots 😜. ❤️
💖💖 When everything started to get better, yesterday it all went down with her majesty! It is very devastating for me, because she was someone to look up as someone who could lead a country at such a young age. If i recall correctly i was 20 years old when she was crowned(yes i am quite old, still doing great though) and one of my life’s proudest moments was getting to shake hands with her at her coronation tour in Cardiff!! She will be missed. God save the Queen🕊🕊 May i add that in about a week, i will be one of the few people to have shaken hands with two monarchs! I’t really is quite exiting
Oh no! That's so sad, hope you're okay! 💗 Yeah she became queen quite young! Wow that's so amazing that you met her too!! And that you're meeting the new King! 😀 Amazing! xx
Lynn here on Hubby's phone mines playing up 😏, Awww so sad to see the bikes go ☹️, I thought they'd be useful for you ?, What's happened to your trolley ?, Looking at how hard it is for you carrying your shopping, it brings back memories of me and my late Mum one Christmas having to fetch the Christmas food order in three foot of snow , Dad was stuck at work , Awww it was horrendous, took us hours and it wasn't that far really 😏☹️😡, Loving the vids you two , keep up the good work , Take Care xx 🤗❤️❤️❤️
Hey Lynn! 🥰 Yeah we were sad to see them too - but we felt it was for the best given how tricky they were to transport! Oh wow! I bet that was a real trek, but it's worth it for the Christmas dinner! Thank you for watching as always, and take care! 🥰🥰
Enjoyed seeing you both again.I think the heat got to you abit.If it hadnt you would have run up the steps with those bikes😄have to say from this older lady seeing you both riding along the canal think its good for safety reasons you should walk 😄😄😄😄enjoy this greatly🌹
thank you for the amazing vlogs as always! you are helping me pass the time for a 9 hour wait at the airport haha (also so cute to see that jigsaw getting used!! i need to do mine, it's still sitting in a draw somewhere haha)
Lovely video as usual, sad that the Queen has passed, her long and amazing reign has come to an end. Too bad about the bikes, you had a lot of fun with them while you had them but I did see a sneaky peer at their replacement and it looks fun as well. 🥰🙋🏼♀️
My horn stopped working for a while then in a dry patch started working again. Assumed it was a bit damp. Swapped out one for the connection boxes for a waterproof one and use a bunch of electrical tape and it’s been good since.
I’m watching this AFTER watching your latest video and you were so near, and yet so far 😂❤ Because as Wes mentioned having friends visiting soon, hanging on the wall is the Filter Strap Spanner (at 19:06) that almost EVERY single comment suggested you obtain for your next engine adventure 😂 So close, so close Hawaiian British Eagle is such a random name for......anything 😂 But a bicycle? Awesome 🙂🐿🌈❤️ I’m sad because I wrote a comment about how to fix stinging nettle stings with a paste of baking soda and cold water and it vanished 😞
Hi guys great vlog nice to see a boater coming to Daventry I friends with about fifty boaters and you and Alan are the only boats to come here keep up great vlogs and stop worrying about everything and as for your desil a little tip one hour per liter and five hours per gallen and most boats hold 48 gallens so that's 240 hours so hope that helps guys hugs to dog and rabbit
Love your videos but could you tell/show where your starting location is before starting your cruise. I have found if you say what canal your on and every so often show/say bridge number then most of the time you can google the bridge number and name of canal and google will give you the location. Hope you can make sense of this. PS: A lot of your viewers aren't from the UK, so we are not sure where you're at and we like to follow your cruise on Google Earth.
It does say in the title shot they’re heading to Norton junction. If it helps they’re on the Leicester arm grand union at bridge 14. They are heading south to Norton junction which is where the main canal joins. If they turn right at the junction they head to braunston and if they go left they head towards London. Whichever way they choose it’s beautiful countryside. Hope this helps 👍
Thanks Russ! Because of how we film our vlogs we don't actually know where the next video will start and the previous one ends. I've now switched it so the location marker in the title sequence shows where we are starting from. Hopefully that helps!
It must have been the exhaustion but l’m sure l saw some butter in the Tesco cooler 🧐and as for the bike ride you had me in stitches. At least you didn’t fall in the cut down the slippery slope .PS l thought the carrots were for Dupes .
Yeah we managed to grab the only tiny tub of vegan butter 😂 Aw thank you! It was a funny ol' bike ride! Doops ate some of the carrot but Rufus LOVES them too!
Loved today's video! Little tip for urban riding, when you come to a flight of stairs raise the handlebars so it's just the back wheel on the ground and the bike is verticle then going up stairs is so much easier 😀 keep on enjoying the chippy 🤙🤙
Hi Amy Wes,well a laugh a minute you two must give lots of pleasure to all your fans you are so laid back you make me laugh so much I nearly peed myself lol 😆,I would not sell the bikes well keep one of them so easy to go to the supermarket so on ,I love the sunrise and sunset 🌅 absolutely beautiful 🤩,,Wes I honestly thought you was going in the canal on your bike you not had them long ,tell me what dose a bottle of gas cost now days, how did you two meet it’s the best thing that happened to you two you are so well suited you can see the love between you ,are you sold the bikes so sad ,,you have a lovely little garden the carrots needed a little longer lol well great blog most enjoyable lots of laughs till next time take care keep yourself safe,John 👀😂😂😂🌹🐶😆✋🙌🤣🤣😍😍🌮🌮🤝
Thank you so much John!! 😂😂 It makes us so happy that we can entertain you all! The gas bottles cost around £35-45 these days! And it's probably only going up unfortunately! We were sad to see the bikes go, but we had fond memories! 🥰 Yeah the little carrots were a bit underwhelming 😂 Thanks for watching, and stay safe! xx
Another fun vlog with you two lovelies 😘 Music choice was excellent, really fitted the moods. If you fancy starting up a cycle chip delivery service, put us down for 2 x large! 👍
Thank you! That means a lot as Wes takes ages picking the right music! 😊🎶 Haha noted, although don’t think our legs would be very happy and can’t promise the chips won’t be eaten on the way 😋🍟
I see training for the Tour De Yorkshire's coming on well.😆 Great Charlie Chaplin impression tho Wes.😉 thanks for another great vlog guys, as always lots of love and stay safe your four👩💻🧑💻🚣♀️🐕🐰xx
Amy, Wes, Another fun packed Vlog. Loved Amy skipping using the mooring line, that was certainly a great moment. Shame the bikes had to go, as you seemed to have so much fun with them. How were your warmed up Fish and Chips and Curry? Great Vlog, and so entertaining. Thank you. Have a great week. Take care.
Yes we were a bit bored waiting for those locks 😁 We were sad to see the bikes go but it felt unfeasible to keep them. We didn't actually warm them up 😂 Wes is a menace for eating cold food! 😂 Thank you so much, take care! 💗
Most tunnels are two way, so you can both pass through at the same time! It’s a bit of a squeeze though! But the ones that are too narrow for two boats, they are organised in all different ways! Some are short enough to just see the other end to know if it’s free, others with traffic lights, booking systems or one way on the hour and the other on the half hour 😊
We quite enjoy your vlogs - very laid back and calm. My husband just asked me if you work from your boat and what do you do for a living? And you both are vegan is that correct? Would be interested in some of your cooking recipes. Cheers from Australia
Thank you!! That's really kind of you to say. Amy manages our socials, and streams games on Twitch, but most of our income comes from Wes's full-time job as a Game Designer. He works full time from Monday-Friday and fully remotely 😀 We're both vegan, yes! Some of our videos have more footage of cooking than others. We'd like to do more some day when we've got a bit more time too! 🥰 Thank you!
Hi sweethearts! You are a joy to watch... I would love to meet you lovely people one day.. I'm in suffolk, near Ipswich .. not sure there are many canals around here. The only one I know is at Oulton water... Stay safe sweethearts ❤❤
What a great vlog. You both keep me entertained with your hilarious antics Those Diddy carrots. 🤣 Maybe a couple little E scooters would suit you both to get out and about. 💚
Hi guys , just a quick question, I bought my boat from north kilworth and have always regretted not visiting the welford arm , I saw you guys did it recently and was wondering if it is worth going there , I’ll be taking a few days off work to get there so I’m just asking? Thx in advance guys - you already know I love the videos ❤️
Hey, congrats!! 🥰 To be honest the Welford Arm is very short - not more than an hour to get to the end. The signal is a bit poor down there but there's a lovely pub and small village - and facilities! If you've got spare time for a short trip we'd recommend it! Nothing particularly special but just to say you've done it is probably worth it 😃
