This was one of the hardest challenges I have ever done! I have seen so many RU-vidrs do these screen time swap videos so I wanted to try to swap my daily screen time with Bible reading! SO in today's video I am swapping my screen time with Bible reading for 24 hours! This challenge was eye opening and hard at the same time and really stretched my attention span and patience, one rule I had in this challenge was that if I didn't complete it, even by a few minutes, I had to start the entire challenge over again! I love how the exchange of screen time to Bible reading challenge not only challenged Jacob, it challenged you as well. Personally I've done it since Jacob's video and my screen time has dropped 75%. Which is unbelievable because I want to read the Bible more and only use my phone for necessary things now

I loved seeing this video. Last year I went through a period of time. Where I caught myself, feeling guilty, and yet complaining I don’t have enough time for the word but spending hours on my phone. So I learned that it’s okay to play on your phone, just make sure your putting God first. And suddenly phone time became fun again, but so did the Word of God. ❤

I also like the book of Ruth, she gave up going back with her sister and other family to take care of Naomi. And if she hadn't gone with her, she wouldn't have found Boaz! And I just really like it all in all

Trust me if I did this challenge. I wouldn’t remember a thing that I read a day later . when I listen to audio bible while cleaning I focus on cleaning and don’t really listen to the podcast. “I’m like what did I read????”

Thanks for sharing. I try this for myself and the fun thing is at the end I am so hungry for more. I just can' t stop. My screentime is 4:47. I heard my bible for about 5 hours nonstop and read for some more hours. I love how it turns out. I will do this more often. Enjoy it ❤

Speaking from someone who just recently started to reread the Bible, the gospels are a great place to start. John is a really good one that exemplifies who Jesus is. Matthew is also a really really good one. Genesis tells the creation of Earth. For me, it helps, if I am confused, to search online for a Bible commentary to help me understand what I’m reading. Hope this helps!!!!

How, my screen time average is 52 minutes a day it use to be 12 hours like a few years ago. I just don’t feel the need for my phone unless someone messages me like my parents. I just don’t like being on my phone.
