Northside Vending and Amusements is the seventh mission in SWAT 4 and the eighth in SWAT: Elite Force. The SWAT team is dispatched for a high-risk warrant service and rescue mission after losing contact with Undercover Detective Jeremy Walsh. Detective Walsh had gone undercover to gather evidence on an illegal casino operating at Northside Vending and Amusements. When he failed to return at the appointed time, it was assumed his cover was blown and he was in grave danger.
SWAT 4 is a tactical first-person shooter where players lead a police SWAT team in various high-stakes missions to apprehend criminals and terrorists in the fictional city of Fairview, New York. Emphasizing realism, the game focuses on proper police procedures, minimizing casualties, and safely capturing suspects.
The expansion pack, "The Stetchkov Syndicate," introduces a new storyline involving a criminal syndicate, along with additional missions, weapons, equipment, and multiplayer enhancements.
The "Elite Force" mod for SWAT 4 enhances the game by adding new weapons, equipment, missions, and gameplay features, as well as improving graphics and AI behavior to provide a more immersive and challenging experience.
