Seeing that episode and learning that this old man Timoki Kaito "The Black Scythe" is one of the most dangerous and feared Yakuza killers, who are honourable following the old ways, is incredibly epic and badass.
In reality Yakuza wouldn't do this as it would led to so much problem like police in Japan cracking super hard down on them which is something they don't want to do as they have a mutual relationship with the Police force. As long as they don't cause too much trouble the police well turn on blind eye on their activities so doing something like sending a group of hitmen oversea and have them get caught which lead to the discovery of the Yakuza the police force of the country the hitmen were sent to well notify the Japanese police force resulting in huge Yakuza crack down.
@@TheGuessMan Yea and they aren't going to send hitmen after one ex-hitman living out of the country as even with all their connection to the police it means nothing if somehow a single group fucked up and got the entire police force cracking down on them which would result in a much more stricter anti-Yakuza policy.
Yakuzas are also on the verge of dissapearing since they are not getting new members due to young Japanese criminals joining small time gangs instead. The ones that still exist indeed are in bed with politicians and police authorities so they are untouchable. From trafick of people from China, to rings of prostitution and drugs, they do what they want as long they dont make Japan look bad.
