My immediate impression was “meh” but as I see it on your arm my mind is changing. This is a palette is great for day to night. It’s amazing how well the shimmers without having to wet them. I love how @melthompaon made the palette #browngirlfriendly. I can see myself using every shade which is rare and wonderful.
As always, your reviews are thorough. Love that you gave ideas on what shadows would work together. I am a novice and mostly have no idea in what colors go with what. Love your videos
We were lucky. The power here stayed up most of the time. Had standing water in a couple rooms. So much cleaning up. It could have been so much worse. We tossed our couch out. It had to go. This palette looks so cute. I like how versatile it is. I was surprised by the color story and how light it is. I haven't been watching Mel recently tho. Her explaining everything made sense to me. Lips look great; bronzer too. That pastel green is gorgeous on you.
Omg, beautiful! When I first saw the palette I was like “nah, I’m good” bc pastels are not my thing (neither are bugs). But after seeing some of the looks from Mel, Kelsee ( and you) and thinking about the fact that it was Sydney Grace shadows I went ahead and got it. After watching this video and seeing what the colors will look like on my skin tone, I’m too excited to get it. I just hope it gets here before I travel out of town LOL.
I look of this palette is divine! I love bugs and insects of all kinds and so does my 4 year old son ! I bought this when it came out and can’t wait to try Sydney grace eyeshadows for the first time! As always ,Thanks Tina for the review tutorial !

My flutterby shade was like that too (but I used some isoproyl alcohol to press the broken piece back). Thanks for the color combo ideas! I've been playing with the palette for a few days now and a few looks I did I really loved... but then some didn't turn out the way I liked. I'm not that great with pairing shades together, so this is helpful. I'll have to try some of yours out!

I hv seen Mel with soft/glam looks. So this pallete with the pop of color fits. The rocker/bad ass (buzz cut and tats) with the soft feminine/glam make up, nails, highend style is Mel to me. Which is so cool. Love the eye look per usual.
Hi Tina, it was really helpful when you swatched eyelooks on your hand. Please do more of that in future videos. Maybe you can even post some of them using throwback palettes on your IG. I'm always looking for ideas on shades to pair.

I don’t really hear about people liking bugs often, but that’s interesting and the packaging is cute. I can’t wait to use my palette. It’s a fall palette in my opinion. I want to visit Jamaica one day because it’s so tropical.

I love Mel and the palette, but not bugs. I will find a way to camouflage my artwork when I get it, lol. I like that you show ways to fix those “oops” moments when applying shadows.

I still think you deserve a collab with Sydney Grace also. I'm quit sure you've sent A LOT! of business their way, you've been talking about them for as long as I can remember, I believe you were talking about them more than Mel. But just like any other company I guess certain skin colors must come first.
