I really love ILNP, it is my reigning #1 can't miss brand! Aria is my all-time favorite polish, so flashy, and not just because it's my daughter's name. 😄
Ooh I LOVE seeing these older releases! I was curious to see more of On Location, Music Box, and Aria, I always see them when browsing through but they're old enough releases that they're a little more elusive. I'd be curious to see Misbehaving and Play Date next to Jello Shot for the ultimate pink holo jelly comparison! (PS Justice for Encryption Key!!)
aren’t these so fun!? i didn’t realize just how old some of these were 🙈 i definitely plan to wear On Location as a full mani sometime soon so i hope to get more photos of it! and ahh i’m missing Jello Shot, i think it might be darker than Play Date though, like more magenta maybe? maybe one day i’ll get it 😆 and ugh yess maybe holo royalty will vote to bring that one back!
I have sweet pea and probably a few others. I just used sweet pea for about the 2nd time in yrs! I first got it and was disappointed about how sheer it was. I didn’t really know about sheers at the time. I’m glad I kept it since I’m really enjoying sheers right now! 😊
i’m glad you have/love Sweet Pea! I definitely need to give it a proper chance, it looks really pretty but I think I almost want something a bit warmer 🙈
@@PolishedYogi skin tone can have a huge effect on how shades look on us! I’ve had to get rid of a few because they basically looked like my skin! 😂 what a weird nail look!
So fun to see these! I love how ILNP has so many polishes in stock, even from yeaaaars ago. I told myself i was either gonna get kiss and tell or the HT pink, but i somehow ended up with both😂 nice to see they aren't 100% dupes. When you showed blue lagoon i was stoked, because im currently wearing it. Then i questioned myself and had to look at my nails, becaude they didnt look the same and then you said how your camera made it more blue😅 so makes sense lol
i know right! i didn’t realize how old some of these were lol 😆 and hahah yess Kiss & tell is definitely unique! at least to my limited collection of holos 😅 and ugh yeah i get so frustrated looking back and forth between my camera and my real life swatch lol like whyy does it just look more blue!! 😭
Love your picks!! I have a LOT of ilnp like over 100 but the only ones of these i have are aria & music box. Love the brand, love the price, love the rewards points, the only thing i don't like is the straight edge brush. I actually replaced all my ilnp brushes. Overall, this brand is a godsend for any new collector. You have a spread of multiple beautiful finishes at an excellent price point, imo. Someone with a small collection could go NUTS on ILNP!!
P.S. to those complaining about 4 coat polishes: changing that brush out has helped amazingly. Even the pastel speckles go on like butta. Try the cupcake paddle brushes that's what i bought. Super inexpensive & made all the difference in application.
thank you so much!! yes ILNP just stays on top for offering beautiful polishes at the BEST price!! 🙏🏼 i’m with you on the brush though, i should’ve mentioned that in this video especially since a few of these had slightlyyy wonky brushes but nothing too bad. I’ve heard of people using Cupcake’s replacement brushes! I haven’t tried them though, do you need to replace the whole cap or can it just be the brush/stem portion? I honestly think it would drive me a little mad to have ILNP with white caps 😆
On Location, Misbehaving, Kiss & Tell, Sweet Pea, Funshine Smoothies, Aria, Music Box ( in one coat), and Blue Lagoon are my faves! This is a really pretty group!
I love ILNP and really enjoyed this video! On Location was too red for me, and Funshine Smoothie was a bit too dark and green leaning so I was disappointed when I got them. I absolutely love Blue Lagoon! You sold me on Misbehaving and Aria, I need them in my next order. Aria in particular is always on my wishlist but never quite makes the cut, lol. This time she will!

Love ILNP holos! Misbehaving is on my wishlist, has been there for years, so I think I need to pick it up soon. I used to own Funshine Smoothie, and I destashed it in like 2020, so it is definitely older than that. Maybe 2018-2017?🤔 I get why you are on the fence, but try wearing it in shade with lots of natural light - that's when it gets the yellow glow!

I love all the polishes you picked up! This is definitely my favorite finish. I just wish ILNP had a different category for this very fine shimmer because on the shimmer category you can also see the bigger particle glittery finishes which are not my favorite and sometimes it is hard to tell 😅
thank youuu!! and omg yes I wish they wouldn’t call some of their shades shimmers lol there was that one blood red from last halloween that they also described as a shimmer and i’m like these are flakies!!! 😆 it definitely can be hard to tell sometimes, even the Splashed Collection were jelly holo flakies with a matching shimmer but you can barely see it 🥲
Funshine Smoothie is OLD. I found a blog post about it from 2014 in the OG ILNP bottle. Apparently it's from the summer 2014 collection Part I along with Bikini Bottoms, Purple Plasma, Rehab, and Summer Stargazing. Amazing to see that even back then the polishes were $10 a bottle.
Misbehaving has been on my wishlist since I first learned about ILNP years ago and I stupidly keep putting it aside 🤦🏽♀🙄Your swatches reminded me I need to stop being silly and buy the dang polish, lol So I FEEL you on this video about finally getting some polishes off your wishlist and bonus is that ILNP keeps their polishes around so there isn't a need to rush and buy. Lovely haul as always 😊Out of your haul I have Funshine Smoothie and yeah... it was a little grungier? than I thought it would be, like dirty gold? Not "funshine" at all, lol Must be that silver holo clashing with the yellow. I was going to try it this summer again and see if I like it better, but yeah, not my fave ILNP purchase.

Love this video Stefanie!! 😄 I think Aria single-handedly kept me from giving up on ILNP back in the day. The brand had a notorious reputation for consistently making 3-4 coaters - which they've since improved on thankfully - but Aria is just a stunning polish that does not need 3-4 coats for full opacity. The intensity of the shine is gorgeous, and I usually recommend newcomers to try that one first. I usually have a minimum of 2 backups of it at any given time. 🩵 As with nearly all brands, I rely on people showing their gorgeous swatch photos/videos (such as yourself!) because my goodness it's frustrating when studio photography, like your example with Music Box, not even close to what you get in person. P.S - I've only ever made this mistake once, but a PSA to also double-check your wishlists! I made a bulk order for polishes back in December from ILNP, and I didn't realize until months later that I bought doubles of many polishes on my wishlist that I had forgotten to remove. 🤦♀
yay thank you so much!! and oh i haven’t ever done 4 coats for ILNP, but can see why you might if you wanted 100% opacity! they definitely still do make some sheer, jelly based shades 😅 but yess Aria is absolutely stunning!! i love that you constantly have backups of it, it sounds like you wear it a lot!! 😍 and ugh yes isnt it a shame about Music Box!? I loved that bottle shot, granted most of the swatch photos do look similar to how it did on me so it seems like it was mainly/only the bottle shot that was misleading 😭 and ahh thats so good to double check wishlists!! i’m sorry you bought a couple of doubles last year, hopefully you were able to destash or gift them!
