Well they are lovely. They are very good additions. Yet if you look at them as a set, it's pretty complete in it's own right. There's no colour group missing that I can think of. All are represented here. Nice work Derwent.

I ordered them from Derwent yesterday as they are the only way you can get them. I got them for £2 each instead of £2.50 as I picked 24. Burnt ochre is not available & I didn't get jungle green, felt green, natural brown & ashfelt as the 72, I felt had colours very similar already. It was £20 to deliver to Australia. I regret nothing and can't wait for them to arrive ❤
I already loved inktense having the pencils and blocks but the new colours will fill the gaps in the old palette, the hard part is waiting for them to get to me. I can't wait, they look gorgeous. Thanks for the video Dan xxx

These were the very first pencils i bought and i love them i was waiting for new colours to come out and found out today so i have ordered them i also found out yo can make your own tin did it that way saved some money too i was just about to fork out for a different full set pencils that went out the window as soon as i saw these Derwent has a special place in my heart

Oof. Yes, please. I’ve had my set of 36 for absolutely ages- they were a pressie many moons ago. I’ve added a few open stock through the years, but never taken the plunge on the full 72. These though- yeah. Gonna need them. I’m a new subscriber- this is how I found your channel actually. I was looking for more info on the new additions to the range and found you, and I’m very glad! Hola Dan. Like I said to you over at Instagram I just love how passionate you are with colouring pencils. The way you were fanboying at every single swatch was just so fantastic to witness. It was such a joy to watch this video from beginning to end. I agree with you. The malibu blue is my favourite one. Absolutely gorggeous blues there. Ive no doubt you will enjoy them my friend.
Inktense are my favourite, I was so excited when I saw the adverts saying they had released more. Mine arrived last Friday and they are already well used 😂😂

Great swatching, I love your swatch book, it's so vivid! I like these big swatches, really easy to see the colours beautifully. I'm also missing the Burnt Umber, they must have had some issues with it, as I can't think there has been a run on a brown. I think these are a great addition to the sets, I'm just wishing that pink was better, its not flamingo for me, I was hoping for something much stronger. I happy I got them though, x👍
HI I just discovered your channel and subscribed. Thanks for doing the swatching! I'm glad that Inktense has filled in with some lighter colors. I particularly like the lapis blue and malibu. The dark mink reminds me of caput mortum. The nightshade is very much like the same color in the Lightfast set, which is one of my favorite colors. The pink flamingo is nice, but like you I wish they had done a soft light pink.

I think the original set really needed a lighter pink, and they are all beautiful but not in my current budget (I just ordered a set of Polychromos) 👍 I have enjoyed watching your swatching though Dan, and they may be a future purchase 😉

Went on line and ordered my tin of pencils so I can build on what I have. Thank you for sharing that as it took quite a bit of work to find the section on make a tin. Anyway brilliant video and thank you so much. Can I ask where you got the pencil chart to search with please?

Cult Pens has a listing for a set of all 28 new colors in a pencil wrap, but it won't be released till the 24th. It costs 48 GBP, and UK shipping will be free (lucky you!). For those of us in the US, the set will set us back 53 USD (which is a pretty favorable exchange rate), but the drawback is that shipping costs will be hefty at $20. Given the exorbitant shipping fee, I will be waiting until Blick and/or Amazon stock them before taking the plunge.

They are stunning indeed! Need to get them stateside! LOL. 3.09 each is a bit more than I can afford (plus shipping). BUT I will get them, eventually. MY goodness they are beautiful!
@@colourwithdan I have all my swatches of gouache, watercolor and inks in one book, and it started so nice and organized and with all the squares the same, but now I just randomly throw a grid on it, use a t-square so it’s not wacky, and fineline it…I don’t even count the paints and squares now..I just move left to the other page if I need more space…and since I would say I have a paint problem, I usually do…it’s nice in the moleskine a4 I think In landscape…looks good when it is closed, then inner chaos….

Hello dan i enjoyed your video i found it interesting and informative, do you think you can do a short video on the numbers of these pencils i can see the names but the color numbers are hard for my eyes to see i was just wondering if you could read out the numbers for older folks, i subscribed to your channel, i would like to order these pencils to add to my collection when they come to canada or usa, can you tell me also how much they cost you i understand the price will be a bit different in my country but im trying to put some money aside to be able to order these..i really love inktense im more of a painter ,sketcher but watching coloring videos and colorist has taught me how to expand my color range and also to layer colors...mikelle art mom 🎨👩🎨💛🇨🇦🇺🇸

I would love to use the Inktense pencils to colour my Hanna Karlzon’s books. But how do I activate it with water without the color bleeding through. I don’t mind the buckled(?) page but not the bleed through.
Thanks, I got Prismacolor 72 for X-Mas. I'm still using the Chromaflows from last summer. I need some advice on a good pencil sharpener , i'm tearing up the leads with hand sharpener. Thanks Dan, something to lust after.😆
