also yeah this is a song about Gerard's & Mikey's grandmother who passed away, she was the one who pushed Gerard into singing and preforming n stuff even gave them a van for touring when they first started which meant alot to them =/ Gerard calls this song an “angry open letter to himself.” "It’s about why I wasn’t around for this woman who was so special to me, why I wasn’t there for the last year of her life."

Helena is based on Gerard Way's grandmother, Elena. Elena was a major inspiration to Gerard and his brother, Mikey Way, and taught Gerard to sing and paint as a child.

Their album Welcome to the Black Parade is one of my all time fave albums!!! You can listen to the whole album beginning to end👌🏾 On a different note, the SNOTTY NOSE REZ KIDS have a brand new album out called RED FUTURE. I know you've reacted to at least one of their songs before. Y'all need to check out their new album man! It is their best work yet. They've recently started a north american tour of Canada and the US.

Still such an iconic track; It always makes me so happy to see MCR on the channel! And no shade at all; Green Day was the inspiration for pretty much every 2000's Pop Punk band who grew up with them, so you got it right! Aa far as other MCR songs to check out, I'd probably recommend "Planetary (Go!)" And "Sing", which are two of my faves from their Danger Days album. They're both so much fun!

LOVE that you guys reacted to this! I’ll be at WWWY on the Saturday. The Used are playing their album ‘In Love and Death’ at the festival, they’re my all time favourite band. It would be awesome to see you guys react to some of their stuff. I Caught Fire is my personal fave but the whole album is amazing. I found your channel because of your Falling in Reverse reactions, you guys are great! Can’t wait to see more:)
