I always knew good skincare was necessary for good makeup but never thought about it being too oily/sticky lol. I used to think this would help the makeup stick to the skin, in a good way but noooou. This explains why my skin always looks so shitty even when I only apply the tiniest amounts, and I mean the TINIEST amounts, of concealer... 1. I have full on oily skin (yet dehydrated, so my skin feels like quite tight unless I use a richer moisturizer) 2. My moisturizers are too heavy (or I simply don't let the skincare sink in before I move on to the next step)... So I will try these tips and we shall see if it helps or if it's simply my skin texture that's too shitty lol

oooh this was really helpful though i do have a question! since you used two different tools for the matte and dewy foundation, are you not supposed to switch the tools? would it be worse to use a makeup sponge instead of the brush for the matte foundation? thanks!!!
The loose powder takes out the moist consistency of foundation and makes the base makeup last longer! It also prevents melting the base makeup 😘😘 Quite a helpful makeup step for this humid and hot weather! 😊😊

You can apply sunscreens over the makeup, but it will wipe out the makeup underneath. There are different types of sunscreen, but the cushion type is easy to reapply.
