That's why it's called a no-go zone in the first place. The police aren't equipped to manage the area. In other parts of the country it's not bad enough to be called a no-go zone, but it's still pretty much police-free zones. I live in a small town and I don't remember the last time I saw police here, meanwhile I do remember the last time I saw foreigners selling drugs on the street in broad daylight, and I remember when most of our pizzerias all burned down within days because the Albanian Mafia took that over and now we can't order food here without lining their pockets.

Hello Swede here trying to clear things up and answer to the questions Asmond was asking. About ~52% of immigrants of working age have a job (old numbers, but they refuse to produce new data since they think it will be used by anti-immigration politicians) . "They" got here by walking/traveling across several safe countries to settle in Sweden due to Sweden being very generous with benefits and also politicians welcoming people in hope they will vote for their party... and they do. In every immigrant-dominated area they mainly vote for 1 party. There are 8 main parties in Sweden. By this, they are breaking international migration laws. Sweden allows this since the former party in charge got about 80% of the votes from immigrants. Sweden dont "Kick them out" because they vote for the biggest party. This party gets about 80% of the votes from immigrants. Meanwhile the population of Sweden have never voted for bigger/higher immigration nor any of this. It has been forced upon them/us by people in power. They are here for benefits, called "economical migrants". Studies shows that less then 50% are real refugees, and almost everyone have lied in their application. But again, since they tend to vote for the biggest party they are allowed to stay and be on benefits without any requirements. In Sweden, you dont have a right to be safe, you dont have a right to defend yourself... and if you were to be the victim of a crime... there is a high chance you be the one charged for a crime. What it boils down to: People in power wants more votes to stay in power and gain more power. Im willing to discuss/debate everything I have written here. You go and vote, and show ID . They check that you are on the list and accept your vote. The average handling time to become a citizen is ~520 days and ~82% of all applicants gets citizenship.

@@hasuchobogosu Mostly yeah, or up until the 80s, depending on the area. In the 50s many would leave their bikes unlocked in public areas, or even their home doors when going away. Around the 90s/early 2000s is when it started to become common to lock your door even when you were home, but at that time (after the fall of the Soviet Union) poor Poles were a pretty big issue when it came to burglaries and stuff. Driving around stealing bikes etc. until their truck was full and then driving home. But other than that, they weren't physically harming people or anything. Now it happens that people living in normally safe, middle class areas get home invaded by armed men instead (mostly for jewelry, expensive watches etc). Like the case where they shot the husband in front of his wife and kids. All kinds of self-defense weapons are illegal in Sweden, including non-lethal things like pepper spray, which makes people very vulnerable to such things. Luckily still pretty uncommon, but if it continues in that direction then gated communities might start becoming commonplace. But we'll have to hope it doesn't come to that.
most places are still safe, there's just a few areas in or around the major cities where they will react like this to police and media presence. most of the violence you hear about is gang on gang violence etc. if you compare it to somewhere like the US it's extremely safe even in those unsafe swedish areas.

Mass immigration is a problem. When my family immigrated into the United States, they placed us in an area where there were no other people of our race and culture. Being outsiders, we were forced to assimilate into the American culture. We still kept our culture, but we always abided by American rules and customs. With mass migrations, many people of the same culture are placed into the same area, so they are not forced to assimilate, and worse still, they start to try and impose their own culture onto their host country. That is why, while I believe in people being given an opportunity to make a better life for themselves in another land, it must be regulated in a way that the land they are moving to doesn’t become the land they’ve left behind.
Mass immigration is never the core issue, the issue is always that most governments simply don't care to fund and create actual thought out integration programs, and instead just lean back on racist tropes and abuse the migrant population for cheap labor.
Exactly a small community can come together regardless of their minor differences as long as there is respect/understanding. However on mass thats simply impossible to do this is why mass immigration fails especially when they are set up like your example.

The reason we dont "kick them out" is because our socialist government decided that asking for papers was racist, which meant we kicked out people who followed to rules to be a part of society, while keeping paperless criminals. This is the end result of us defeating McCarthyism the way we did. The proper way to defeat McCarthyism would've been education. Now there are millions of Americans who say we can't bring socialism to America because of China - A CAPITALIST COUNTRY - because those Americans don't understand the difference between Communism, a form of government, and Socialism, an economic system. And worse yet, these people actually vote. Well, the ancient Greeks - the ones who actually invented this whole Democracy thing - said that Democracy has two minimum requirements. With these two things, a Democracy would endure. Without them, no matter what else it did right, it was doomed to fail. 1) The citizenry has to vote. That is, turn out. Less than 50% of US citizens have ever turned out to vote in any election in our nation's history. 2) The citizenry has to be informed. They have to actually know what they're voting on. Neither side does this, though I will say one side adheres far closer to the truth than the other. In the end, most of the minority of our citizenry who bother to vote don't know what they're actually voting on. Which is to say America is screwed, go buy guns, yes even if you're a liberal like me. They're nice to have now but in an Anarchy state they're mandatory for survival and it's not a matter if this country will end, only when.
@7794 Sweden is a social democracy. Like @austinm5630 said, it's a hybrid between socialism and capitalism because it mixes a mostly private economy with an expansive welfare system (i.e., wealth redistribution). On a conceptual level, it's accurate to say a social democracy is socialist because while it advocates for keeping and reforming the existing institutions of a state, it still abides by socialist principles (e.g., wealth equity, social equality, government planning in the economy, etc.).
