2:20 Yes, the RB 99 is the same exact thing as the AIM-120B. In game the AIM-120A and AIM-120B are identical as well (the 120A's visual model literally even says "AIM-120B" on it). IRL there were differences between the AIM-120A and B. The 120B added better lofting capabilities and basically redesigned the internal components to be easier to work with than the 120A. The end result of the 120B was basically an easier to work with missile that has the same flight characteristics besides the lofting. In game they are identical, meaning AIM-120A = AIM-120B = RB 99

13:20 you can get a point lock with maverics at 20KM. This does not track any moving targets so you pretty much have to hope that you get a direct hit but it can be done. I just got the achievement this week for getting a kill with a guided bomb from 20km+ distance by locking a point near the enemy spawn and just throwing an AGM62-A Walleye I and hoping for the best. It was super satisfying to get the kill at that kinda distance.

cant wait for newer gripen and get more hardpoints, i usually take 3 agm65g and 1 aim120b/rb99 just to have that capability to defend against another aircraft at distance. gripen PELE round in that cannon is so good when it pens.

13:18 I have gotten 16-18km kills with Mavericks before on 3x Pantsirs, but it takes like 1 to 1.5 minutes for them to get there and you have to hope they don't move or aware enough to intercept them. I've tossed them at 5-6 high and 18km away while going 1.2-1.3 mach and it was the D variant on F-16C with IR seeker, not the TV ones. Note that it will not reach if you're below mach and game won't allow to toss them while going above 1.4 mach, you need to be in between.

I remember lobbing AGM-65Ds over 15+ km range, it will not track the vehicle at that range but if they stay stationary missile will eventually close the gap and acquire them, clapping their cheeks in the process.

The Swedish JAS39C can get a LOT better in terms of air-to-air combat. The JAS39C can carry both the IRIS-T (called the RB 98) and the MBDA Meteor (called RB 101). Both of those missiles are insane irl.

I would argue the PLSS is as good if not better simply for the commanders periscope, the armor on the + is nice sometimes but you can do a lot with that periscope if you get into a good spot and people arent immediately looking for a little set of eyes popping up and down.

In my humble experience Mavs seem to work best at most 9-10 clicks, locks targets reliably, damages often, the whole shebang. The issue sits at them being often taken down by Pantsirs. My PEAK loadout with the Gripper and Harrier is the 2 9Ms, 2 AIM-120s, and 2 Mavs. The awesome twist is that I use the Mavs almost exclusively to take down helis and SPAA (often the Pantsir). Its pretty funny to me that the best Anti Air Italy gets is literally just aircraft, a combo between the Mangusta with Spikes and the Gripen or Harrier with their toys. I end most games with 5-8 air kills because of the Ka-50s rushing at the start of the match, Ka-52s being over-confident, and the occasional overzealous MiG-29 or SU-25. I just wish Gaijin rewarded plane kills as much as they reward tank kills in ground battles, if not more.

03:20 while gaijin may have nerfed the engine and top speed... but man hitting above 72km/h will automatically disable the stabilizer of the CV90120 back in the days. Now with the max speed of 70km/h, the gun is always stable, you can actually shoot while scooting.

Hey Justin, I kept asking you to play the VMF5 and the Buccaneer S.2 with the RP-3s! However, I guess Gaijin nerfed the dispersion on the RP-3s, they're borderline unusable now, which is a bit of a shame. So could we see some Harrier CAS with the Challenger Mk.2 and the AIM-9G? You get a fast reload at the helicopter airbases since you can hover, meaning you can be dropping 5 tons of bombs every minute and a half!

Currently grinding the 122B+. So close to top tier at this point I can almost taste it lol.

Hungarian Jas 39C must be same as Sweden Jas 39C, because Hungary leased its 14 Gripens from Sweden Air Force, same with Czech Rep. Gripen also leased from Sw. Air Force.

My favorite thing about the Commander sight obstruction is how stupid it is.... it's literally REMOVED in active duty, it's detachable and is only to be used in transit, you'll never see one in an active combat zone with that tarp attached....

I swear every single dart I shoot at an Strv 122 doesn't spall. and when it DOES spall it only takes out the loader and commander *SOMEHOW* even my Sweden main friend who knows the 122s like the back of his hand cannot consistently one shot the thing...

I have gotten kills on pantsirs from 18km with my f16c. Takes about 4 missiles to get them but I have done it. I usually sling the 4 mavericks 1 after the other about 1-2 seconds apart and usually 1 of them will reach the pantsir

My farthest kill was with the Wyvern and carpet Bombed the Vietnam spawn at 36k ft and got 4 kills and I killed a t-34-100 (respect to the person) and managed to wipe out their anti air… I like carpet bombing and not using agms and gbus… not fun and imo there’s no skill… bringing props and low tier vehicles to top tier is a dopamine rush and making people mad is also hilariously fun

I think killing something from 20km away that cannot do anything against that thing is bad gameplay and bad gameplay is shit! The only ones who can do something against them are AA's with radar. CAS is just toxic and only fun for the player playing it...
