So this is the last episode of nerdsports I guess

The problem comes down to the fact that on push off they put more force with their arm at the end. The reason for the takeoff is to match your body speed to it and only use your arm to slightly slow or speed it up after you've calculated based on your own speed how far it will go. Look at how the other team does it, they basically let the rock "pull" them. For anyone who hasn't curled before, it looks like it shouldn't be too hard to get used to, but you really will underestimate the ice and inertia of the rock. even slight curves over the distance will be way off.

It's no wonder they don't include this video in their Nerdsports playlist. Linus seemingly telling Colton to "f*ck off" at 14:09 was way over the top and actually dropped my respect for Linus a bit, I get he was frustrated but Colton was simply trying to deliver a silver-lining and round up the group out of the pit of salt they're all in. It's no way to act like a team leader. Taran needs to learn to actually recognise his own mistakes and not blame them on everyone else; He spent half the game trying to 'reinvent' Curling methodology and refusing to play properly, to which he then flipped to incessantly shouting at everyone else and using "because you suck" as an excuse for his own shortcomings. I wouldn't be surprised if their reputation took a hit over this.

This was probably thrice as good as the previously best episode. The editing and the outro skit were great. Sometimes, you guys make some poor decisions, and your planning leaves something to be desired, and other times you're just flat out wrong... and you also piss me off sometimes... Lol... But you make some gosh darn hilarious and uniquely entertaining content, and I really appreciate it. Not only have you basically cornered the market in terms of nerds competing in actual sports, but you couldn't have chosen a better cast and crew.
