We spend an entertaining couple of hours at the Septa junction of Jenkintown/Wyncote observing Silverliner 4’s with their bland/austere/uninspiring S2M horns and the elegant Silverliner 5’s with their equally elegant K3LA horns echoing sweet music throughout the area. Their Doppler effect echoes intoxicate me like no combinations of Jack Daniels and weed ever could. We also see a couple of push-pull trains with their ACS64 locomotives which have gorgeous raised letter K5LA horns. A gorgeous afternoon in sight and sound.
