Well it's a known weakness with their policy, that they are not selecting sources based on "facts" but "reliability" because it's difficult and unreliable (pun intended) to be able to tell what is "fact" and what is "fabrication". This means if all main stream media (commonly seen as "reliable" by their standards) are silent about something, then Wikipedia will inherit that bias. They do also have templates to warn about such things but it's mainly for contributors, and visitors normally won't be able to see or know them.

I disagree mainly because most articles are fine, and Wikipedia is generally a summary of collected information from sources. Just like a university study. The only difference is one is "credible" and the other isn't. If the standard is to not use a collection of information because it isn't "credible," I would wager you shouldn't even pay attention to university published works as EVERYTHING made by a human is subject to their biases. The same info can be interpreted in many different ways.
