Yeah...ok. Listen to the original then this and I think you'll find it an exact copy not for not of the lead guitar part. Nothing in this was original or "Made his own"
Sorry, but I didn’t say they duplicated or improved it. I cannot speak for these artists, but I doubt they were trying to “ duplicate or improve “ the song, but rather playing it in their own style which they did very well. In this way people who like Bluegrass can enjoy and find appreciation for the song.
@@2mnxffrddfghjbbvcdfh6644bcddcv Are you the guy that just has to leave a comment that is the complete opposite of what anybody says? Perhaps it’s just for shock value or to create conflict..
Wow. W-O-W. W.O.W. Did I say 'WOW'?! Great rendition, there is a lot of individual details that each musician contributed, making this a unique version of this awesome song.
The voice of an angel. So beautiful. I imagine hearing this on the porch at sunset with a glass of ice cold sweet tea. Watching the sun go down. Pure peace.
I grew up with songs like Rocky Top, Old Time Rock n Roll, Roll n My Sweet Baby's Arms. This genre brings back so many memories. Thank you Erinn, Ian, Christopher and Dylan for the memories. You definitely have yourself a subscriber. ♥️
there are some beautiful covers of this song out there and, this version might be my fave. It is dynamic, energetic, and insanely cool. Brings me to a sweet safe place...
This is incredible. I found this when I was in the middle of my chemo and it was so uplifting. I could listen to Erinn sing the phone book, her voice is so amazing.
I wish you well and whole, and hope that cancer finds the cells of your body to be so intolerable a host that it never comes back. I also urge you to look into two drugs you will never hear a chemo salesman say out loud. The first is an -azole antifungal by the name of fenbend-, and the second starts with iver- and rhymes with pectin. Both have shown miraculous results when used in studies to treat cancers, but big pharma would risk losing their top money makers if they let word get out. I am neither a doctor or a cancer expert, but it is in my own best interest to promote and support free informed choice for everyone. I do this by sharing less circulated information. I will leave it up to you to decide if it is in your interest to check into it. Cheers!
I knew young folks in the 90s from the old time / country / gospel crowds who were messing around with the intro parts of this during practice. It was fun, and it was funny, but nobody gave serious thought to actually playing the song. If they had it would have been met like Dylan going electric. So glad THIS is back, and it deserves a permanent place in the RU-vid covers Hall of Fame. Kudos also to the sound engineers & camera / video folks who dreamed this up, in this setting, and made it happen! It’s like Foxes & Fossils playing in parking lots & then some.
Yes, It would have SURELY been like Bob Dylan 'plugging in'. All mainstream Country & Gospel bands would only do Rock-N-Roll covers from that point on !
Stunning Vocals, Musicianship, and Melodic Atmospheric Magic sprinkled throughout. Keep your musical fires burning bright folks. Thank You Kindly for this tune.
I found it around 6 years ago while doing cover search on yt for my favorite g and r song. I would guess 6 years. But it was lost and gone for the last 3 years maybe ? Ah.. look in the description 😂 it has been recorded in late 2017 😂❤
Do you ever listen to The Dead South, Gangstagrass or The Devil Makes Three? I am a metal head that also loves rap but recently bluegrass, country and similar genres have been really impressing me. Those are a few bands I think are worth a listen.
@@xbrandi12345x I will check them out. I'm more metal and rock but like upbeat music. You may like Ghost Hounds. Awesome vocals from lead singer. Greta Van Fleet is one of my favorite new Rock bands with an old sound. Thank you, Rock on!
this is terrific. it reminds me of back in the day i would mix in some bluegrass covers of classic rock songs from hendrix, clapton, others. it's like hearing the song for the first time again.
this dang cover made me remember the 80's and 90's when this was the life ... i always wanted, but never had. beautiful country, fresh air, great music, and friends to share it with. I WAS This CLOSE. 👼🏼👼🏼😞😞😭😭
Now listen here sonny. That song is not old, it was only released a couple o' years agon and is still contemporary. Hell, I even have the 8 track right here, looks pretty new to me!
