@@SamDorp Very much so. Can do Knocked Loose, Motionless, and a lot of other metal bands without a sweat. I've also picked up guitar, which I think was the best move after I had been feeling Rhythm for a while. It also gave me a new point of view music-wise, since you hear songs differently depending on which instrument(s) you're focusing on. So, yes. I did get better lol, but it comes with ALOT of practice and the key is to just have fun! :D

So many things I have been playing wrong and so many things I never heard. This must be mind blowing to hear for people who picked up the guitar in 1987 after hearing this.
I heard a important producer says about the intro of scom, it was recorded by producer playing the intro because Slash coudn't hit the time of the notes.
Slash keeps on his distorted channel and turns his volume down making it sound clean. It works for most amps if they are valve like his. A lot of the digital ones just go quite and keep distorting. I believe he uses a tone city Angel wings chorus pedal
@@guitarplayer8918 no it isnt. its close but that is not slash and duff playing. on the original at 4:17 slash hits an accidental harmonic, its not on this version. the only original split tracks of any song on this album is jungle.
It is a different picking pattern. The riff is mainly him running up and down an E minor pentatonic scale. The chorus is a take off of it, but the first two you hear before the main riff is fretted on lower notes
