Using the Nexus Standard MP V2 metal detector with the 11.5" Silver Scout coil. I guess it's called the Silver Scout for a reason. It find a chunky silver pendant, coins and relics. Enjoy and thanks for watching.

That 11.5" SS sounds smooth as silk on your V2. NICE Mexican silver pendant!

That's the exact same thing I say about both the Nexus and the fisher cz21, except I use the word interested instead of curious I'm interested in the Nexus and fisher, but not 2k interested I'd go with the deus 2 if I was going to spend that much money, so I could run both single and multi frequency

Can’t you run single frequency with your legend? Anyway, hey, I get it I’m not gonna tell you what to get. I am an avid XPD2 user, great machines, but I don’t know in the end if you’re gonna find any more with an XPD2 then you would with the legend. Main thing about Metal Detecting get out there dig some holes and have some freakin fun!!! So check out this channel. Some incredible eye-opening tests and real hunt videos. There’s a lot to go to he has almost 300 but I just attached one cool one and then you can look on your own from there. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nutbO1rn5So.htmlsi=iktvWqsXLaCgeIwn

@@DigginDude-vt8sx yes the legend runs single frequency, I meant compared to the Nexus or fisher I just did a price conversion, the Nexus(3) cost 2900 Canadian dollars lmao How do you think the Nexus does with our Canadian iron change, on the legend they kinda jump up from a highish tone down to a low tone, kinda like a bottle cap We also have nickel change, from 1968-2000 all our change was made out of nickel, except our nickels which were made of cupronickel between 1983-1999 I don't know I'm rambling now, according to the chart the 9in concentric coils is better than the DD in everything except EMI, I wonder why more companies do not offer concentric coils I watched the video, I'll check out more of his videos over the next few days

@@digginggopher yeah on Paul Warren channel, he explains how Nexus audio reacts to the UK iron core coins on random videos which I believe are similar to your Canadian coins. So you’d have to search that, and I believe it’s during some of his real time hunt videos. I’m not going to get into a debate (not that you’re looking for one) regarding multi frequency versus single frequency, etc. everything has its place in Metal Detecting just because you have multi frequency… Doesn’t mean you’re going to find more but it will make the machine more susceptible to EMI in many cases. Nexus machines are extremely stable and not susceptible to EMI like the digital machines. Believe me, it’s not my intention to push Nexus machines over any other machines except I must say, there are too many uninformed opinions about the technology and how they run, too many assumptions regarding them by people who have never used them. The purpose of my video channel is not to become a RU-vid star. I’m learning how to use Nexus machines and publishing videos regarding everyday hunts in the United States because there is not a lot of published videos regarding these machines. I will also say, after owning and mastering many different digital machines over the years, these are the only ones that are different from all the others. in the end, today’s digital machines are re-packaged same in same products. But I stress, use what you like, and most of all….. HAVE FUN 🤩

Im really interested in this detector 24khz is high for a silver seeking coil isnt it? On my legend id run like lower 10khz if i wanted silver id run 20 or 40 if i was looking for gold. Its kinda out of my price range, if i was going to spend that much money i think i would go with the deus 2 But the nexus is such a cool detector though, i wish i could get both the nexus and deus 2 I also am a huge fan of 9x5 coils because i search super trashy areas, and i dont think the nexus has one of those?

I would never tell you what to buy. It’s entirely up to you. I am not selling machines or trying to tell you what is better from another. With that said , Nexus machines and their induction balance technology are totally different from the digital platform. The unmasking and iron is incredible. You have to take what you know from digital Metal Detectors regarding coil sizes, coil build, and frequency and throw it out the window it operates differently. Don’t forget these machines are designed and used in Europe, where there is a vast assortment of coin sizes and nonferrous composition. With that said, they slam on United States coins including silver. High frequency concentric coils are used for trashy areas. And I don’t feel I’m missing anything. Try not to get stuck in the world of everyone else’s coil sizes compared to the performance of these machines and the coils offered. I will reply again and post Paul Warren‘s RU-vid channel if you haven’t seen that already. He does thorough testing with these machines displaying the unmasking performance with an array of different coils. I own XPDEUS 2, I enjoy it, but I find myself reaching for my Nexus. Of course, I’m still in the learning process with my Nexus, but they are a pleasure to use. You already have a legend which has more coil choices than XPD2 without telling you what to do I don’t know how much you gain by getting an XPD2 when you already own a Legend on a digital platform. So take your time and think about it. I will say Nexus machines take time to get acquainted with. They are not a dig by numbers machine they focus on audio which if you watch any self proclaimed experts, or real experts regarding Metal Detecting….They always tell you audio is first not numbers. Anyway, look for next reply for Paul’s link you really need to check out his videos.

@@DigginDude-vt8sx Its a hybrid mix, using the very best from the digital world and the analogue world the filtering system is linear and not logerithmic at all if you look up Paul Warren hes very expert with the nexus brand and nany other machines,

Most of the fun in watching these types of videos is to actually see a closeup of the coin! Further, is it that hard to carry a water bottle so we can see what the coin looks like? Found the video boring due to both these reasons. Sorry, but it seems so obvious to me. Good luck.
