People should be charged with animal cruelty and abandonment.

Leaving a dog behind that is so wrong. Thank you to all the people saving her and helping finding a forever home.

She was the lucky one, I feel sorry for the other 2 dogs they took.

I recently drove a dog who was losing his home to a divorce. It was so sad. The woman just walked away. The man had to move for a job and couldn’t find an apartment that would allow his big dog. He brought his sweet girl to me and said, “Promise me she’ll go to her forever home.” He was in tears. His sweet girl was adopted within a few days. Happy ending for all but the young man who loved his dog enough to make sure she’d be safe.

They took two dogs and abandoned Lucy? Those people should be banned from owning any pets ever again. They don't deserve to own any.

That couple should be tracked down & prosecuted.

So, she sat there as she watched her mom and dad each drive off with one of her siblings, leaving her behind. Lucy, like all dogs, trusted her family. She wasn't staying by her old house, or refusing to get in the car because she was scared. She was waiting for her family to come back, because she trusted that they would. People who betray that trust, loyalty, and love of a pet are monsters, who don't deserve to have another pet, ever!! I was so happy to see Lucy at the end of the video. Finally with a family that deserves her and the trust, loyalty, and love she'll give them. And I'm sure they're going to give her all the love in the world, right back. ❤❤

I am also disappointed that the neighbors didn't try to report it to a rescue group since they knew the circumstances of her being left .

Sometimes I just hate people. That sweet dog had no idea why she was left and alone. Thank you to all that jumped in to save her and find her a home! She sure looked happy having another dog around at her foster home. I hope her permanent home has a dog for her too.

i would never leave my pets behind. i'd rather sleep under a bridge. neither of those who left her behind cared for her in the first place. every animal deserves a loving home but not all humans deserve a pet.

It should be possible to not only charge these people but have something printed say on their drivers license that they are never allowed to own an animal again.

Jesus Christ that's cruel. They didn't just abandon her, they took (& split up) the two other dogs she probably loved. & they just chose to leave her like she was worthless. Neither of those people should ever be allowed to own a dog in the future. This was heartbreaking. So glad she was rescued by people with love in their hearts.
