A key thing is Sang-wook has never said he’s a gangster - the residents assume he’s a gangster because he’s scary. A lot of watchers never realize that because it’s subtle.
The rage is actually a symptom of monsterization. This was mentioned around the 2nd episode. The symptoms are: rage, hallucinations, decreased body temperature, extreme nosebleeds... The big monster's desire was to bulk up (think: gym bro), so you can hear him shouting "protein!" now and then. The guy didn't choose to shoot the giant fetus because he wouldn't have been able to kill it by shooting it down, anyway. He was the one who told our MC that the monsters can't be killed. He would have been wasting his remaining 2 shots that he had explained were reserved for himself.
Also it would likely just piss it off as well. He probably figured on top of that her desire was to be with her baby/have her baby something like it so she's just hanging out in a dream world. That's what I assume. She took a form that would let her dream her baby is real/a form where she just became a womb to protect her baby forever. Either way yeah ultimately not much point in shooting it and lots of negatives.
While watching the show its important to pay attention to the context, because sometimes it can get confusing, but everything will fall in place by the end of the season. The show have 3 seasons. The season 3 will be out during the summer. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the show :) Can´t wait to see your reaction to the rest of the episodes :)
I've been rocking out to that ending credits song. I don't speak Korean, but the lyrics and the music sounds 🔥. I want to find the whole song and listen to it. Why is no one standing guard at the place where the people are quarantined? That A-hole shop manager could've seriously hurt his wife because there wasn't a guard there. When is he going to die because his character is so annoying and evil minded. The rooftop girl's brother might be a sociopath or something. He doesn't seem to care about anything or anyone until it's important to survival. Him possibly knowing about the monster in the basement and not telling the firefighter lady was my first warning about him, but prioritizing the guy in the wheelchair because he builds stuff over the lives of the children that mess is cold-blooded. Also I don't think I've seen him smile once the whole show. He's like a robot. That explains his sister as well so it might be a genetic thing. So is that creepy dude a pedophile or something. He definitely shouldn't turn into one of those monsters. I think that PROTEIN muscle monster might have been obsessed with eating or working out which would explain his protein obsession. So if that guy is a pedophile...OH HELL NAH. They gotta take that guy out if he starts to turn or no child will be safe maybe not even adults if they look like a kid. Turns out the gangster was only like that because he wanted justice for what happened I guess to his daughter because of that pedo bastard. He did something really nice after he got his justice. Well it looks like the big boy monster is going to be a problem again. Dang, he just can't take a hint to stay away from the building and go somewhere else. The deadly sins (Envy, Greed, Gluttony, Lust, Pride, Sloth and Wrath) aren't the only factors to make you turn into a monster. You could tie the "PROTEIN" muscle monster to Gluttony because it was all about consuming protein and later blood. Gluttony could also tie to the Long-Tongue blood sucker monster. The "I can't see " monster seems to have been Wrath. However, the Speed monster could be Envy, Greed, or Pride depending on the reason why he turned. Strong emotional regret is also one like with the Long-Arm monster that regretted that he couldn't reach far enough to save his son. You could try to tie that to Greed for wanting more of a reach, but that would be a stretch.😉 I also think extreme need could be a catalyst as well because the Stroller lady wanted to protect the children from the PROTEIN muscle monster and t then she turned. There is no sin connection for that one. I think the guy in the wheelchair showed sympathy because he saw her hand touch the inside and it still looked human. So that's probably why he didn't kill her in the cocoon. I probably wouldn't have either, but I would've relocated all of us to a new apartment. Enjoyed the reaction 👍👍✌ out. ***SPOILER*** (Only what happened in this episode; No Future Stuff) I was wondering why the gangster guy dragged the creepy pedo guy outside and just stood there for so long instead of getting his butt back inside? If he had just put him in the center and came back in he could see if the monsters got him or not. Then he brought the soldier guy and the daycare lady's daughter inside. I wish they could've done the same for the kids father as well. Did that "PROTEIN" muscle monster get way bigger and change its catchphrase to "BLOOD" when he grabbed and ate that tall tongue sucker monster? 🤣 I think the more that big monster eats the bigger it gets and that's going to be a real problem if that thing isn't destroyed soon.
Yes.... mannequin man is a thing in S Korea. They're artificial flaggers used for construction, etc. At least they're used in multiple movies that I've seen. Not sure if they're used officially.
The person they were looking in room 14 something is the mister that in the Wheelchair bcs he knows how to make guns or anything that they can used to protect against monster. And not the grandpa with the nurse
