I remember an American exchange student in my high school, back in India, when asked what gulab jamun reminded him of, replied "testicles". Americans are fascinated by the shape of Indian sweets.
I never compared food with genitals. Our parents teach us not to do so. Don't know why Americans say that about food so much. The food wastage in America is immense as well!
@@whitewalker608, agree ! I have seen immense amount of food wasted by Americans ! They just throw and throw and throw it in the trash ! The Indian in me is always hurt when I see that ☹️
In India, restaurants (or sweet shops) are many times called Hotel, not necessarily they have rooms to stay. Probably because restaurant is a complicated word and hotel is easy to say.
@@Rea3443 Yeah ! Actually I don't know the exact reason but the news was shared by local insta bloggers & his son revealed through a comment that he didn't had corona.
Of course not. In fact they are often times racist. Can you imagine western people ( let's say American) giving these many subs to an Indian youtube channel reacting to American movies/series?!?! NO.
There's nothing wrong with being impersonal either. The cultures are different and that's a good thing. The Indian 'love' can get overwhelming at times.
There are many south Indian sweets too like payasam, Mysore Pak, kajjaya, kadabu, laadu, kobri mithai, or Bengali sweets like rasgolla, sondesh malpau, rasmalai, then there are halwa, sweet Poli, different kinds of barfi Etc. Indians eat a lot of sweets. 👍
Guys, that was not 'Paan' , rather a sweet made to look like one. The Pistachio blend was shaped into the beetle Leaf cone where as the rose/cashew/pistachio etc. mixture was made to look like the paan masala
Exactly, tommorow Kashmiris and Uttrakhandis will say delhities as South Indians because its in South of them, lol. It should be measured from center about which direction it is. Because your perspective will change depending on wjere you are
@@kalkirajpanwar7796 Rajasthan's culture isn't even similar to the other states you have mentioned.... Gujarat is the closest to Rajasthan in terms of culture. These both are a part of west India, not north.
Yesterday I had so many jalebi that I've started feeling high on sugar and promised myself I will not have any sweet this complete month.... and now this🙄🙄🙄... my mind right now .".just one piece more will be okye" 😂😂
Bengal is named West but is to the east. It was done to mess with foreigners :D :D On a serious note, Its actually called West Bengal cause it is the western half of original Bengal province (which included Bengal, Bangladesh, Assam, parts of Bihar and Orissa)
It's really bad idea to taste all the sweets in one day, take it for your meal which include spices too, try sweets with different food and sometimes with sweets alone.. then only you will enjoy the dessert..
React to "Vemular Chithi" by Rupam Islam. It's a song mourning the loss of Rohith Vemula, a student of Hyderabad University, who committed suicide due to the mental and physical harassment he had to endure for the fact that he belonged to a lower caste. His suicide was one of the most painful moments for students like us who want to rise beyond the barricades of religion and caste. The singer Rupam Islam is the most popular Bengali rock singer. And probably the only rock singer to win a national award. Arijit Singh is a die-hard of him and once attended his concert in disguise. He is Kurt Cobain and Bon Jovi of our time. Here's the song - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PZmLKaF_87w.html (it's subbed)
I am a bengali myself and a foodie at that. No argument i love sweets from orissa (khaja, chena poro, etc) and also from hardwar. Bengali has its own twists with jalbhara, misti doi too. One thing for sure northern half of india including east and west takes desser to a unique level.
I’m neither Bengali nor Odia but Bengal’s claim over Chhena sweets is something like Britain had declared Chicken Tikka Masala as their national dish (however to represent multicultural society only)😂😂
Hey guys! When will you react to the songs from the movie Pukaar? They are created by A.R . Rahman. You will find dancing talents like Prabhu Deva and Madhuri and seasoned actor and actress like Anil Kapoor and Madhuri. I'm waiting...
