Sweet & Sour Chicken Egg fried Rice and Chicken Balls | Fakeaway Wednesday 

Wow I loved the intermission. The delivery guy was definitely cheeky. I give you credit for doing all that prep to create the fakeaway. It made me so hungry watching. Another great video!!

Absolutely loved this upload mate. My favourite Chinese Takeaway food is sweet & sour chicken and that looked like the genuine article. The delivery guy was really funny 😂 Respect to you for cooking a dish you don't like just for Nat. You're a top bloke Keith 👍👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️♥️

My favourite is chicken balls with curry sauce and I chuck in some chilli oil to make the sauce a bit spicier

Those small deep fat fryers are brilliant for cooking pasta. No oil obviously, just water brought to the boil and put pasta in the basket but don't cover it. Also vegetables, and soup,gravy,whatever. Not the best for deep fat frying!

I've bin on the sofa all week full of cold watching your vid has really cheered me up and it looked yummy i know my grandkids Will be texting me later to see if nanny's feeling better and what I'm cooking lol 🍜

Top tip: the batter you made for the chicken balls is also perfect for chip shop style fish n chips using fresh fish

You could of got sweet chilli sauce instead of sweet&sour for the plain chicken balls, it all looked very good and wouldnt complain if i got that from a takeaway.

Look banging that mate, if you add some cornstarch slurry (water and cornflour) into the sweet and sour it'll thicken it up

Bang on kieth looked awsome I bought the lidle version of the small chip pan its ideal for doing this should of done a batterd pineapple ring for nat to try there really nice and go sound with sweet and sour you dont get much change out of a tenner for sweet and sour chicken these days the beauty with doing your own you can do it in the afternoon and warm them up at night heres a question for nat does she like eating her takeaways the next day after buying them I find there are a lot better and the taste is even better

Hello Everybody Welcome Now!! Oh yessssss!!! 😄 Yet another cracking video Keith! Always great to see your interpretation of a recipe.. When you cooked your first chicken ball, I said to my wife "that's gonna stick to the basket" and sure enough, it did! I knew it would cos I did the self same thing with a piece of battered cod! I found d the secret was to sort of dip the battered food into the hot oil, and hold it with a fork/cocktail stick/tongs whatever to seal the batter, then it can be dropped in to the bottom.. Can't wait to see you doing an Indian fakeaway! Great entertainment as always, and great to see the lovely Nat enjoying the food too!! Love to you both ❤️
