It boggles my mind how talented each of these guys were. Really mind blowing. So incredibly hard to believe that they are not in the rock hall of fame. You can hear how they actually influenced other bands that came along later.

Mick looked like he was really enjoying the moment during their Musicladen appearance. The other performances that they did on this show especially on the song " No you don't " he was smiling as well. He really looked like he was having fun up there performing and the joy was evident. As far as I'm concerned they all really shined in this appearance. THEY threw down & shed the notion & image that they were merely a bubble gum pop band who were Chinn & Chapman puppets.

One of the best things bout growin' up in the far north of MN in the '60s and '70s was all we had was the radio, vinyl or casettes we didn't know glam rock from hard rock from... it was ALL ROCK! We got the music not the silly costumes, and Sweet kicked ass right up there with the best! RIP Steve Priest and thank you boys for some really kick-ass songs!

Cool ! Every time that I see Mick sitting behind the kit, he always looks poised and clearly knows what he is about as a drummer. Andy played really interesting guitars throughout their career including this natural finish Fender Stratocaster; I love his playing here. Steve was obviously enjoying himself on stage here and Brian was a fantastic frontman as always !

I'm from the UK. It's virtually impossible for me to pick my absolute favourite song because there are so many ! A few years ago I had the privilege of having my Listener's Top Ten favourite hit singles played on my local radio station and my choices kicked off with 'Love is Like Oxygen' ( which is Andy's favourite) and it sounded great to hear Sweet being blasted out over the airways ! I also love 'The Sixteens' ( which was Brian's favourite) and so many more. 'Blockbuster' made a massive impression upon me when I was a child and 'Hellraiser' was the first single that I ever bought and I still have it ! 'Little Willy' was a favourite of mine from even earlier. Their hard rock B-sides were also great and one self-written B-side that was a lovely vocals dominated song that I have always loved is 'You're Not Wrong For Loving Me' . BTW Steve's favourite is 'Fox on the Run' I'm not sure what Mick's favourite Sweet hit was .

TheHumbuckerboy I have listened Steve´s interview, and he said, that his favorite song is The Sixteens. I don´t know, maybe I´m wrong??? You are from UK, haven´t you listened and watched X Factor UK, and the finnish vocalist Saara Aalto?

The video where Steve was talking about 'Fox on the Run' is the following ...' Best of Steve Priest of Sweet on " Focus in the Mix with Denise Ames" form 8mins 52 - 11 mins approx. It sounds like 'Fox' is probably his probably his favourite ( although he doesn't mention 'The Sixteens'). I have heard Andy stating that 'The Sixteens' is the best song that Chinn/Chapman ever wrote . No sorry, I have never watched the X -Factor .

Not only do you hear what influenced Kiss, Motley Crue, Def Leppard & the like, But as you can hear also Priest, Saxon & even Iron Maiden! Sweet did it all! Notice the back of Steve's outfit it says "Fuck You!" Yeah no more "pop" for these boys! They wanted to be badass! & they're clearly loving it!
